Established in 2006, nestled by the entrance to Mallard Creek Golf Course in Columbia Station, Bootleggers Bar & Grille casts a nod to the days of prohibition where friends huddled in rustic cellars to enjoy the latest spirits trucked in by local Bootleggers.
During Prohibition, the manufacture, transportation, import, export, and sale of alcoholic beverages were restricted or illegal. Prohibition was supposed to lower crime, corruption, and reduce social problems in America. Instead, Alcohol became the driving force that transformed the entertainment landscape in America. It gave birth to the speakeasy and the bootleggers themselves paved the way for automobile road and track races.

We like to eat here, however, the seats in the dining area have totally lost any cushion..very uncomfortable. And the blinds really need to be cleaned, they are all coated in dust, which doesn’t help my appetite. A good cleaning of the entire restaurant is needed. We may not be back. On a better note, your waitress Jessica, is so sweet and helpful…

Heard all the hype about their food. The loaded tater tots where awesome, drinks were cold… but the ribs. Yes they were soft but very dry and I’m not sure about their sauce, very bland. But to each their own with BBQ style. The fries say “skin on style” but there was no skin, they reassembled frozen food section or krispy version on McD’s, nothing to write home about. The Artichoke dip was pretty good, different, but good! I do recommend stopping in, restaurant is large and very clean, the patio was nice as well but it’s non smoking on the patio and That sucks lol. Service was friendly and fast and our waitress was very helpful.

A group of retired teachers met for lunch. We ate outdoors on the large covered patio. The salads were lovely. Everyone seemed pleased with their meal. I ordered the French dip sandwich with tater tots. It was huge and delic ious. My spouse ordered the club sandwich. It was so tall that he had a hard time taking a bite. We both brought home half of our lunch.

Went with a large party for a business meeting and we’re seated underneath a large patio. The service was outstanding and the food was pretty good I had a french onion soup and salad. The Diet Dr pepper tasted weird, so a couple of us switched to diet Pepsi. Overall great visit!

Good deal for Saturday : $18 full slab ribs. Food tasted great. Unfortunately, waitress wasn’t very attentive. Had to keep asking for drinks and other stuffs. It took awhile for the waitress to come and check on us for refill on drinks or other needs. Honestly, the restaurant wasn’t awfully busy.

Pleasantly surprised with this Bar & Grill. To be honest we were just passing by. We thought it would be an excellent moment to purchase an appetizer and use the restroom. When we looked at the menu it was interesting. They had Cobb Salad!!! So I had to try it. Thankfully they substituted the blue cheese for feta cheese. That was such a plus. My husband had the chicken wings dry rub with blue cheese dressing. The food was excellent. The presentation of the salad was fantastic.
