Great find! Takes reservations, outdoor patio seating available in warmer months, slightly quirky decor inside, good food, not overly crowded on a weekend morning, and the service was great! They even have a small parking lot on the south side of the building (where I would’ve normally expected street parking in South Minneapolis). I’d definitely come back again!

Loved the bread pudding here! Like a French toast that got dressed up for a fancy party. Coffee was perfect. I always hate when chicken sandwiches are too thick but the one here is crispy and just the right thickness. I haven’t even eaten the Cobb salad I brought home yet but it looks beautiful. Great service and a nice atmosphere. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options labeled on the menu.

This is such a cute place! What a wide variety of options on the menu. Made it for Happy Hour and extremely enjoyed the old fashions that I had. The red curry shrimp dish was amazing! The hostess and the server delivered everything with a huge smile! They were so amazing. Our server gave excellent suggestions and she was patient with us while we jumbled our order. There are options for both indoor and outdoor seating, which is always a plus. Great vibes overall!

Living only a block and a half away, our family comes to Book Club all the time. Great family joint with an eclectic and yummy menu. Everything from a nice steak to a delicious burger, great craft cocktails, and a tasty black bean huevos on the brunch menu. We also get their Fried Chicken Dinner for 2 as take-out frequently.

Book Club was a great discovery for us. We’re always looking for a nice place to have a casual dinner with family. The atmosphere, service, and food were great. The menu has a nice variety with something for everyone. Several families were dining with their kids so we felt welcomed with our baby. We will definitely be back.

Delicious, fresh, scratch, comfort, friendly, ambiance… words I’d use to describe Book Club. We had skewers and the tofu to start. All were super tasty and highly recommend. We then had the broccoli mac and a fried chickend sandwich. The chicken sandwich was top notch. The mac was also fairly tasty.

We were a party of five (including a 3 yr old and 1 yr old). They were attentive to the kids’ needs; provided coloring materials, brought over age-appropriate books for them, and brought out the kids’ food first (thank you!). We three adults all coincidentally had pasta dishes, and liked them all. I had the coconut red curry seafood over rice noodles — very good and not too spicy at all. Kudos for the excellent service provided by many staff!

Came in for apps, dinner and a drink. The mussels and fried tofu were both excellent and proved to be so much that we had to take home the salad and soup we got for our dinner to have the next day. All of the food was excellent, the waitress was present but not overbearing and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. We will be returning for happy hour and family take out in the future.
