I was surprised that the chicken and waffles were really lacking flavor and taste. The chicken breast was huge and was very very chewy. It was bland and needed something else.

Waffles were SAVORY. Chicken did not have any rememberable flavor. Too much oil on plate from chicken being fried; definitely cooked skillfully. Surely warrants trying other dishes on menu.

It’s been years since the last time that I was able to enjoy a meal in this place, and it did not disappoint. The bartender saw me waiting and called me right away to join the bar. She was very polite and even provided recommendations. I had a Kentucky mule and the Kentucky hot brown. If you have the chance and time, I recommend you to visit them.

Business AsUsual
I got there 1 hour befre closing so l received a small sample size of the service, l only had 2 overpriced drinks. But the restaurant looked to have a cozy, relaxing vibe. But one lady really wanted us to leave turning off the television and music before 8pm and before l finished my drink. RUDE!! But l understand airport clientele is not repeat clientele. But a very nice Looking establishment.

About as good as you can get at an airport. And I’d probably visit them at a non-airport location if they have one. Chicken and waffles were on point. And the fried chicken sandwich was great and comes with the best kettle chips!

Agree that it’s one of the best U.S. non-chain airport restaurants around. I had the veggie press sandwich with house made potato chips and of course, an old fashioned. I think you can easily pay this kind of money at other airport restaurants for lesser quality food.

You’ve probably noticed I only review great places. Life’s too short to post about something that doesn’t hit the mark. I digress. Ever had an amazing airport breakfast for under $5? Well it’s possible at this spot. Waffles for $4.99. They are homemade and tasty.

I had a bloody mary while waiting on flight. The drink was.on point. The service was wonderful. Billie Jo was professional, yet friendly to all the patrons that came in during the 2 hours that I was there.

They have a huge selection of bourbon, but it can be extremely expensive. The food is good, but it’s a really small selection and/or variety. One good thing about this place is that it is before the security checkpoint. So, it is a great spot to wait for people that you’re picking up or meeting.

Awesome bar to drink and eat in while you wait to get on your flight! Loved the ambiance and decor of the place. I ordered the “old fashion” from the drink menu! It was yummy! For a not a bourbon drinker. Great food and desert. Not many in desert choices but the waffle ice cream was amazingly delicious! Sandy our server was super helpful and friendly!
