Ordered on the Bonvini’s website. Stated would be ready 1:27. Arrived and food came out at 1:38. Okay I thought, gotta make sure food is cooked correctly. Well as you can see food was undercooked and that just meant order was started late. No one really in store and no orders being prepped so all the more reason that should be on time. Ordered half plain and half mushroom pepper and pepperoni. Got that wrong too as you can see. It was ordered electronically so didn’t get mixed up on the phone. The receipt had it right, pizza had it wrong. Way too many choice and competition in town. Gotta get on point with everything above. Now for the good, ingredients all top notch. Toppings sauce dough all very good. Gotta brown the cheese though guys. Okay. Nice family history in town so sentimentally hope things improve. Chicken cutlets looked good in glass display case.

They make great pies. They ran out of large pies so we opted to get 2 small. Quality and taste is good. I can usually get a good sense of how good a pizzeria is by the type of mushrooms they use. Fresh quality ingredients and well made pies here. They make a good egg plantParm sandwich too.

Bonvini’s is not just nostalgia for older or former Livingston residents who fondly remember it. The pies are legitimately great, although different from the barstool style pie that seems to be popular today. The difference being that Bonvini’s has a great sauce and cheese combination where you’re getting more of both. Most of the barstool pies are really good but I always want extra sauce and to have their thinner layer of cheese be less burnt. If you are looking for the classic New York pizza of the 60s and 70s, I think Bonvini’s comes’ closest to this. And I expect them to only get better as Bonvini’s has been open less than a month.

Great pies. Very unique style of pizza. Thin and crunchy throughout but not quite pan pizza. Their tomato sauce is very savory and rich.

When I was a kid we used to order from Bonvini’s and it was my favorite pizza. I’m so happy they’re back! The pizza is really good and it has thin crust which I love!

I just had Bonvini’s pizza for the first time in 40 years, and it was AMAZING! Tried a slice of Sicilian and a regular slice. Both delicious. The owners are awesome, as well.

My dad raved about Bonvinis Pizza, as he would say they were always the best pizza and hoped the family would bring this business back. Wishes granted, they did. Deft the best pizza in Livingston for sure! He says this is just as he remembers it as a kid! Really great real Italian pizza.

I no longer miss New York Pizza….Bonvini’s is the real deal when it comes to real Italian pizza (the sauce hits you the right way). They were referred to me by a Hoboken native who told me once I moved to the Livingston area that I had to try them…and am I so glad I did…I bought them for our New Year’s Eve Slumber Party and their pizza was the star of the night. Thank you Bonvini….Long Live Bonvini’s Pizza!!!
