Delicious food! Took a chance and stopped by on the road. Great service—not sure what other reviews are referring to. Did not get the buffer and ordered off the menu. Got country fried steak and quesadillas. Both were tasty!

This is definitely the place locals come to eat at. Has all you can eat buffet. Breakfast served all day. It may look like an old diner, but the Food was really good. Large portions. Kim our waitress was great. She recommended the chicken sandwich special. It was excellent. Toasted sourdough with thick chicken breast, cheese and lots of bacon. We didn’t try the buffet.

Awesome place, been going there since they opened. Great food. Portions are great. My buddy is one of the cooks, and he’s got passion for cooking. Waiters/waitresses are friendly, and attentive but not to the extent of being annoying. Definitely recommend.

The food is iffy for the most part, some days you will have some of the best food you could ask for and others it’s kinda meh, but it does give you a more home like feel to it. I use to always get the buffet as some of the menu items can have to much cheese or just not taste good when cold / reheated.

At one point during our meal, my daughter texted me and said, “This tastes like nursing home food.” The buffet had a large selection, but nothing looked especially appetizing. The waitress never cleaned our table, removed plates, or even took our menus away. We were there at dinner time, but the place was near empty; however, everyone acted like they were too busy to check on us, refill our water, bus our table, etc.

Driving on I57 in Illinois?… this place is worth the stop. So much food and great service to boot! The food is fresh and the buffet is one of the best I’ve seen! You can definitely tell this is where the locals come as the parking lot was full! The Frendy staff helped us out of towners with the ordering.

Took a shot and stopped for breakfast. Always looking for places to go eat. They open at 6am but the buffet wasn’t ready yet . I could see as we ate that it was going to be a good buffet.

While visiting family, they said Bonnie’s is the best for breakfast. 3 of us had the buffet. Food was proper temp and being refilled constantly. My GS had the all you can eat platter. He ordered chocolate pancakes, a veggie omelet, and biscuits and gravy. They were served full size and on separate platers. Our 5th order was the haystack biscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon. We were there as the buffet was changing from breakfast to lunch. The waitress came over to let us know they were pulling the breakfast items and asked if we would like anything else, took our additional orders, and went made sure we had the fresh food we requested. All the was great and so was the service. Plan to go back next time were there.
