Bonita and her family are responsible for one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! Fried catfish, grits, pancakes, corn cakes… I wish I could have stayed longer to try all of Bonita’s incredible dishes, but her talent as a chef and kindness as a human radiate through each bite of her delicious, delicious food. You are welcomed as family immediately when you step into her space, and her pre- and post- (and during-) meal chats were just as wonderful as her food. To Bonita and your family: thank you so much for the gift of spending a morning with you, eating your stunning food and relishing in your company! I cannot recommend this spot enough.

I am a cautious person when it comes to trying different foods. We were in Plains, GA and my husband saw the sign and said we have to have some southern cooking. Everything was beyond delicious! Boiled cabbage, mashed taters, dairy free and real corn bread which I’ve never had! Thank you for making our day!

I cannot possibly say enough about how amazing Bonita’s is! Every bite just melts in your mouth. Best candied yams I have ever eaten in my life. Bonita is an incredible cook and was very sweet to us. Go out of your way to eat here.

We stopped for lunch today trying to only stop at local restaurants when we travel. Bonitas was well worth the stop! Buffet style with oxtail, fried chicken, chicken and gravy, collards, black eyed peas, Mac and cheese, rice, ribs, flat cornbread and pound cake! We tried everything but the ribs and it was delicious!!! All homemade with love!!
