For a place that just opened I was impressed. Waitress was good and the bartender was awesome! My burger was amazing. The mushroom and swiss is a must try! My tots were cold but they took care of it quickly. My wife’s cob salad looked amazing and she agreed, we had cheese curds which are pan fried and not breaded. Not the normal curd but a definite win. The shrimp appetizer is amazing. Lightly breaded and super tender. We will be back. This place can only improve and it won’t take much to be 5 star

I was very unhappy with the food that we got in a take out order. They never gave us one of our orders of cheese curds which I paid for and the other order of cheese curds were deep fried black. Couldn’t believe they actually put this in a box and served it! Just disgusting!!

It took an hour an a half to get our food. The burgers were over cooked. Very loud in the place, we could barely hear each other talk. Our appetizer came out after our meal. Two people came 20 minutes after us, ate and left before our food came. The waitress was very nice, she kept apologizing about the wait. Not sure what was going on.

Cold beverages, friendly smiles, freshly made bar food. Very updated and fresh decor! Major fly issue…yuck. Highly recommend their margarita, delish!!

I’m glad it’s open again. The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly. I recommend stopping for some food or drinks if you are in the area.

Great small town bar and grill visited last Friday, with an amazing walleye and french dip sandwich! Bartender/server was awesome and super friendly! She told us about some great specials and the Friday salad bar..will definitely be back to try that out! The JB sauce is amazing and the beer was ice cold! 10 stars in my book..thanks Bonfire!

12/22/19 3:00pm attended a reservation for our Staff Xmas party – the gal working NEVER SERVED our table – not once did she come to our table of 18- 20 people to take an order and we’d had the reservation booked for weeks!!! So there’s no reasonable explanation. For every meal and beverage ordered we had to leave our table to order!! UNACCEPTABLE. – the waitress KELLY was not friendly and never once came to the table to take our orders – We even cleared our own plates and empty glasses etc. I always enjoy the Bonfire,but at this point I have no intention of giving them another cent. I called and spoke to the owner this morning and politely shared our disappointment in the service yesterday, he asked what i THINK he should do because he cant fix whats already been done, i said it was unacceptable service and should be addressed. He asked what i expected with “that big of a group” Seriously?? I told him had we been told when the reservation was made that no one would serve us, then we could have made the decision to select a different location or go knowing it was on us to go to the counter to order for the entire event. Completely unaccountable and UNACCEPTABLE – He was so thankful that i brought it to his attention that he HUNG UP on me. Classy!!! That’s reason enough for me to go elsewhere AND be certain to share my experience with anyone I can! Utterly disappointing since I have been going there for Years and never had such horse $h!t service. Brian, Steve and Paul are exceptional bartenders and have always provided great service!!! It’s unfortunate that the poor service from yesterday and the lack of concern from the owner today have resulted in me posting this review and the loss of business, going forward, from the guests last night and all the people I will share my experience with.
