Recently, a friend and I had dinner at Boneyard Bistro. I hadn’t been here for about 8 years but had fantastic memories of some of the best beef ribs I’ve ever tasted – so I’ve been dreaming about returning for a while. The hostess was kind and we were given a decent table, but the ambient noise level was so high that my friend and I had to talk loud to hear each other. The waitress was excellent in all respects and gave us enough time to start a beer and look at the menu.

REALLY ENJOYED a birthday dinner here! Highly recommend the newly renovated back patio. We were a party of 8 that ordered the mini-mega which said it feeds 4-8, but felt it could have fed 12! There was SOOO much food. My favorites were the baby back ribs and the beef ribs, but loved it all!

If you have a fondness for ribs and anything smoky with goodness, then this place is undoubtedly the place to be. The succulent ribs here are a testament to the mastery of the culinary team, who expertly infuse them with a rich smoky flavor that is simply unparalleled. The tender meat practically falls off the bone, making each bite a truly delightful experience. The accompanying sauces are a symphony of flavors, perfectly complementing the smoky goodness of the ribs. The ambiance of the place is warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that adds to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that your needs are met with utmost care. From the moment you step foot into this establishment, you are greeted with an air of excellence that permeates every aspect of your visit. So, if you have a hankering for ribs and crave the smoky deliciousness that comes with it, do yourself a favor and make your way to this extraordinary place. You won’t be disappointed.

For a BBQ spot in california, this was pleasantly surprising. Ended up here because just about everything was closed on July 4th.

I know, I know…a 5⭐ review always seems over-enthusiastic to me too. In this case, however, it’s true. I’ve been here only twice, and I now consider myself a regular.

This place is legit. The staff was great, drinks were unique and tasty (hard to get right these days) and the food was freakin awesome. Brisket was on point, the sausage was soft and tender, pulled pork done without being crazy salty like some of the others I’ve had recently. BBQ sauce! It didn’t really need any, but I had to try that, too. Thumbs up across the board!

Just be ready to pay some high prices for some less than quality food. My friends and I came here last night to celebrate some birthdays. We made reservation ahead of time and parked in the Starbuck parking lot in the back since it was open. If that’s not available then it will be street parking. When we checked in we got seated right away. It looked like there was only 1 waiter working at the restaurant. We started off with the Devil Eggs and that was probably my favorite dish from there. When I saw the menu, I knew I wanted the Santa Maria Tri Tip but when it came time to order I was told it would take at least an hour so I had to choose something else. So I settle for the Kobe Mac when our waiter said just think McDonald’s Big Mac but better. So I got that and when I saw how they package it, it was already a bummer. The burger was not good at all and the fries had no flavor. McDonald’s Big Mac would’ve been better and way cheaper. My friends got the OMG Burger, California Special Burger, Fish Tacos and All 3 Ribs. They asked for their burger Medium and it came out Well Done instead. Since there was only 1 waiter working, it did take a while for good and refill.

The brisket in the Nachos was amazing! The Mahi-Mahi tacos were good but the toppings over took any fish flavor. Open later than 10pm. Good service. Good atmosphere.

Fiancé and I came in the summer at lunch on a Saturday and we’re skeptical because it was empty. However, the food and service were fantastic. I got the Philly steak sandwich and fiancé got the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Both very pleased and Taylor the waitress was fantastic. Five stars.
