I ordered takeout at the restaurant and the tteokbokki was extremely disappointing. I also ordered soy garlic chicken strips and it was fine but the tteokbokki was essentially an unflavored orange waterpool. Last time I had their tteokbokki, the sauce was thicker, spicier, and MUCH more flavorful, Honestly, because the sauce was basically water, the rice cakes, fish cakes, and fried seaweed rolls (soggy) tasted terrible. Even the cheese didnt taste right because it was like eating cheese after dipping it in water…

We used to like bonchon but this will be the last time to order chicken from here. Chicken was so dry and too hard not just crunchy. I think they fried before and fried again when they recieved the order. So disappointed.

The place is fine! I dined in around lunchtime on the weekends, and the folks were helpful with providing me how to order.

The environment was full of flies and they kept swarming around our food not allowing us to eat peacefully. The food wasn’t all that well, the fried rice had no flavor unless the whole cup of soy sauce was added, really dehydrating us. The pork buns were good but not up to the level of the ones we had before. And both dishes were definitely overpriced for the taste. The service was well and normal they were polite but unfortunately that didn’t make up for the food, prices, and environment. This could be because we didn’t try their fried chicken which is their speciality but not a fan of the ones we tried.

Great experience here! Got the bulgogi tacos and spicy chicken strips. Both were delicious. Warning though, the spicey wings are actually pretty spicy, so if you aren’t good with hot food, I’d suggest getting another flavor.

Honestly hesitant bc the reviews were not good BUT EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! Garlic soy chicken was crunchy and tasty. I like the sauce. You HAVE to get the donuts! They’re so soft and good.

Would like to start off by saying if I could, I’d give them 0 stars. We came in after a long flight and wanted a quick bite… my family and I ordered chicken tenders(bbq & hot), french fries and pickled radish. They said they didn’t have ketchup but wanted to charge us for other condiments, he went on further to say that because of cooperate issues they didn’t have ketchup nor toilet paper (this was only the first red flag). We then discovered a large strand of hair in our French fries… they gave us a hard time when we requested a refund even though we had not touched our food. I don’t recommend this location and am deeply disappointed with the service and food.

First off DO NOT TIP THEM 20%. This is not like the traditional bonchon places where a server helps you with an order and actually serves you. Basically, I ordered from the counter and our food was brought out to us. That was the extent of the service. Water is self serve. Drinks are “free refills” but you have to beg the worker who’s on his phone the entire time to provide a refill for you. Cleanup you do yourself. It’s almost like take out except you eat at the restaurant. Virtually 0 service. I usually always tip 20% but for this place maybe 5% at MOST is deserved as a “Thank you for showing up to your job.”

Had the 4 chucken legs and fries lunch special. Biggest legs I’ve had in a while. Good tasting. You order and pay up front and food is brought to table.

Food was good and portion size was fair. Sorry my photos were taken after we already took pieces out of the container. Spice level was solid and was happy with the crispy chicken. Would come again if in the area
