This chicken hit different. That Soy Garlic definitely does it. Pure Crunchy Fire. This place accommodates your flat or drum preference. I got all flats and fries I was happy. This place is a must Eat. Go check it out….

I definitely enjoyed myself. The menu is a lot different then I remember. But that was BC (before covid). However the fried chicken they are famous for are definitely still there. I love the soy garlic and the sweet crunchy. This time round I got the half and half. Spicy and sweet. I also had a slamming Watermelon Margarita

Ate here Saturday night before the Joan Osborne concert. Being a vegetarian I didn’t have your chicken but I had the tofu dish and a glass of wine. I was in a hurry and the food came right away. I asked the waitress for the check and a container and she brought them right back. I ate the tofu, but didn’t have time to finish and put them in the container and left. Yesterday, I added some more tofu and some teriyaki sauce and had it for dinner last night. Will eat there again.

Been ordering to go orders for years at Bonchon. Used to drive from Fairfield county up to the one in New Haven but was ecstatic when they opened up one in Fairfield. Was always delicious but something has happened as of summer of 2023. Spicy flavor is now no longer double fried and oil-less and the chicken is no longer that authentic spicy flavor. Seems to be watered down, wet and definitely not spicy and more soy sauce salty if anything. Not sure if they’ve changed chefs or formulas but it is not what it always was. Not good. Thought it was a fluke when I made a large order over Independence Day weekend thinking maybe they were short staffed but have ordered twice to the same soggy chicken wing results that are NOT GOOD. Not going back until they acknowledge some kind of change…

I love trying new places. We had the drumsticks, korean chicken tacos, bulgogi, and the Bibimbap. I would start with the drumsticks they are crunchy juicy and flavorful, the korean chicken tacos had the right amount of spice. The Bulgogi stake was my 2nd favorite the sesame just brought the dish together. My least favorite was the Bibimbap although the presentation was good it lacked flavor in comparison to the other dishes one some of the Bulgogi stake was mixed with the Bibimbap it elevated the dish. I will definitely go back to try the other dishes in the menu.

We ordered spicy chicken Bibinbap and Bull-dak. Those were amazing. We also got the fried chicken, the flavors were good but it was too salty, even for a person like me, who likes everything quite salty. The thing that I didn’t like was that I wanted a Japchae with chicken but we were told that we cannot customize the food. But over all experience was good.

I’ve been waiting to try this place ever since I heard about it and was happy there was a location in ct that newly opened up. Didn’t unfortunately get the chicken as that what they’re known for but the tteobokki was by far my favorite. The bibimbap felt as it lacked flavor but the udon noodle soup was super flavorful. Takoyaki felt a little overcooked undersauced but it’s still good. Service was fast and friendly. The place is clean and there’s free parking as well. All in all check em out.
