It was flavorless and not especially hot. We both thought all the food tasted like frozen reheated stuff. The calamari looked like onion rings that were super tough and upon your first bite the whole calamari processed ring would fall out of its batter. Even the olive oil and balsamic on the table tasted super cheap.

This was our first time visiting Bona Vita. Our niece is visiting from out-of-state and she wanted chicken Alfredo so we decided to order and carry out. To say we were disappointed when we arrived home and unpacked our dinner would be an understatement. The Margherita pizza was flat, colorless, missing mozzarella and there were only withered old leaves of basil on top. The Alfredo was a bland color of beige with little to no sauce, the chicken was barely cooked and the entire dish had no flavor. We will not be visiting this establishment again. I can’t believe they charged us for this meal.

Second time in, ordered the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and was not disappointed. Initially forgot to ask for no peppers as the taste can be a little much, but gave it a try and was surprised at how well balanced the flavors were. Thoroughly enjoyed! Husband ordered the Ravioli Formaggi and was very pleased. Our server Sandi was quick and attentive, and the food was out shockingly fast. Can’t wait for our third visit 🙂

Food was good but not enough to make up for the noisy, echoing environment, hard and very uncomfortable seating, and gnats around the table. I spent $60 on three of us with just water to drink and left with numb legs from the chair and wishing we had gone somewhere else. Our food came fast though. That was nice.

This place was pretty good. We were looking for some Italian food and were not disappointed. They immediately gave us some yummy bread and got our orders out fast. Their Italian soda was amazing. The food was not the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t bad. I would go here again.

Came with a party of 10. We had a lot of different entrees to try (pizza, pesto pasta, fish, spaghetti) and 3 different appetizers. The coconut shrimp was good and everything else was not. I talked to three other people a week later that was at our table and we all agreed it was not good and no one liked their entree (we all three took leftovers home and we all ended up throwing them away) and there are so many better places to eat in that area. Service was mediocre we had empty drink glasses most the time.

The first thing I noticed when walking in is the lighting! It was very unique and compliments the space very well. As for the food, I had the sausage ravioli and loved the just right amount of spiciness. I wish the sauce had more flavor though. The waitress was fast at getting our order and the food was hot and came out in a timely manner. My cohorts with me at the table said that they wished the salmon had more citrus but that could be a personal preference and the other felt the food was good but nothing special.

The caprese salad was amazing. The mozzarella was almost creamy. The salmon was divine, and the pasta perfect. I tried really hard to like the New York strip steak. It was cooked perfectly (medium rare) but there was a lot of gristle, and most of it was fairly tough. I probably just got a bad cut, but that was disappointing. Everything else was really good. Atmosphere is a little noisy. Our server was great.
