Delightful experience! Service was excellent and the staff could not have been nicer. The food, there was so much food but it was delicious. Everything fresh and the portions were huge. I had the petite ribeye, it had to be over 16 oz but cooked perfectly. If you are in the area it is worth the visit.

Wowwwww the service here is astonishing. The way you have all the courses come out. They dont rush you oit the door. The experience is amazing. The food top notch. You’d think when you order a,blue cheese salad it’s pre-made dressing but no. Everything looks fresh as can be.

5 stars for a reason! Absolutely the best steak and seafood in the area! It has a reputation for being the best that you need to experience at least once so that you can tell others about. Kinda like the Grand Canyon. You’ve seen pictures but until you step to the edge, you can never truly appreciate the magnitude of what you are experiencing. That’s what Bon Rico is to me!!!

Huge delicious steaks. Go easy on the appetizers, because the steaks will come with shared relish plate, salad, french onion soup, and cinnamon knot dessert. But, chicken wings are a great app.

We visited here for our anniversary the food was amazing everything was cooked to perfection. Take baby steps eating your food if you order an appetizer or 2 you will get plenty to eat before you even get your food that you ordered. The waitress and manger did a great job making sure needs are met during your experience thanks you for that. I highly recommend the artichoke dip it was delicious. First time bringing home an appetizer lol.

This place is amazing! I’m so glad I did my research because the last time we stopped in Evanston we ate at a different place that was awful. Bon Rico however was top notch! More reviews should tell you that you need to bring a hollow leg cause you get sooooo much food and it’s all amazing! This was as good if not better than fine steakhouses in larger cities and the prices were super reasonable for all the food you get. We will be making a weekend trip out to go here again! Thank you Bon Rico for serving us a wonderful anniversary dinner while we were passing through!

This is the place to get a great meal that is served in courses, like the old days. The steak is very large portion wise and seeing is believing. Reservations are required about two nights in advance.

In a town that is not generally known for stand-out dining, Bon Rico Steakhouse is one of the exceptions to the rule, and a delicious one at that! They strongly encourage reservations, which, at first I did not get, but their owner once explained that since their staff and dining area are small, they need to know exactly how many people they’ll be serving to guarantee a pleasant experience for everyone. As other posters have alluded to, their prices are higher than what you’d find at Sizzler, but IMO, for the food and service you get, they are well worth it.

Came here for a dinner with my some coworkers. It was sooo good! Huge portions so come hungry! The service was good, servers were very nice! Good food takes an extra second so make sure to be patient! Well worth it.
