The food and service at Bombay Street Food National Harbor are great! I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good Indian cuisine. We arrived just before the lunch crowd and we’re seated right away. Our server was courteous and answered questions we had about the menu. The food was served in a reasonable amount of time. From the small plate appetizers to the main course – everything was delicious – made with fresh ingredients.

My husband and I decided to come here on a whim. We were headed to Savannah Candy Kitchen and Bombay is directly across the street. The atmosphere was nice and the lady behind the counter was friendly and attentive. We decided to place a to go order. We ordered tandoori wings and two orders of lamb biryani. I’m not keen on trying new places and Bombay is a prime example as to why. For $25 a pop, I was expecting to have some lamb in my dish. The wings were sublime. We’ll stick to Kebab Palace in Alexandria.

Aaaamaaaazing!!! From the moment you enter this restaurant you are transported to India! I absolutely loved the decorative and colorful chairs and Indian inspired cups and decor! The ambiance was amazing AND the food… OMG!!! It was delicious! I got the Shrimp Biryani and Garlic Naan and my girlfriend got the Butter Chicken and plain Naan! Both came to the table fresh piping hot, and seasoned to perfection. Our server was very attentive and coming in right at 12 was perfect because there wasn’t many people (although by 12:30 it was getting a lot of traffic). The presentation and plating of the food made my taste buds water with anticipation. I only wish they had Butter Shrimp because that butter sauce on my Biryani was everything! It upped the flavor profile times 10. I am already making plans to go back. It was a fantastic culinary experience.

The food here is delicious! We had the samosas, pani puri, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, paratha, garlic naan and rasmali for dessert. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. The staff is very pleasant and the guy that helped us had really good recommendations. We also had the hibiscus cocktail and it was quite yummy. The only thing I felt needed improvement is many of the staff members seemed shy and would look away when we were trying to get their attention. The food was a bit on the pricey side but understandable due to location and the food is tasty. If your in the area make sure to stop by.

Walked past and the smell was wonderful so we gave it a try. If you are not used to Indian food I highly suggest what we got so it introduces you to Indian without being overwhelmed. We had chicken Tikka marsala, non veg(meat) platter, and lamb. Each meal comes with rice so we added chana marsala(chickpeas) and spinach to share. Chicken melted in my mouth, the sauce was rich but perfect to use as a gravy on the rice. Lamb was again great as well. The meat platter had samples of a few dishes in 1 so highly recommend to try. All our dishes tasted very clean and fresh. It was a little tricky to get waiters attention for refills. Indian food has a kick in general so expect to need water. Never hurts to add cheese naan and garlic naan to side dishes. My husband did get a couple of beers and alcohol which is the only downside because that caused the bill to go way up. Food alone was about $100. Drinks there for 2 beers and 2 Hennessy came up to be $100 not to mention they added tip into the bill already. They actually lost out on tip since we usually pay 20% and they had it automatically added in the bill for 15%. We highly recommend and we will do again just without alcohol.

Great flavors that felt authentic. Appreciate the number of small plates including puri puri, radva along with of course samosas. The decor is lovely and service responsive. Also it is great to have many vegetarian options.

This is the real Indian food. You even get rare to find dishes like paw bhaji here. We had veg Thali and veg biryani and both tasted excellent. For desis- they also have old monk ! The decor is fantastic especially the chairs. Service is quick and efficient. Prices are steep and the portion sizes are smaller than other places serving Indian food. A 18% gratuity is already added. Highly recommend

My experience at Bombay Street Food National harbor was beyond words. Service was 20/10. The food was toooooo goooooooood. I loved everything I got. I loved the fried Calamari and the veggie samosa. And the butter chicken was amazing. It’s my favorite on the menu! I highly recommend you come and try it!! I only took a picture of the kale salad which was also amazing!! The chilli momo was also really good. I’m not a fan of spicy food but this was really food! They also had good selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Finding Parking wasn’t difficult.

I felt like I was into a another planet by the restaurant’s atmosphere, food, and service. The lamb curry on their thali in particular was out-of-this-world and delicious. That gravy that they gave with the lobster reminded me of the homemade flavors of my mother.
