We reached around 9:20-ish and were hoping to be welcomed for dinner. We were greeted with a frown (like we will close in half hour, good if you do a to go or something). Persistent enough we sat and ordered a quick dinner meal for two us – Chicken Jalfreezi and some rotis. The preparation was good and had just about enough flavor to qualify for Indian palate.

This place only deserves 1/2 star for the cool water. Felt excited while ordering veg Manchurian and Pav Bhaji, Manchurian was full of red color and seems these guys don’t have enough salt in kitchen to put in Pav bhaji. The veg thali was sooooo bad. Please walk couple of blocks from this place and eat in VEGZ, although the ambience there is bad, food is very amazing.

We ordered a paneer tikka masala and had the worst and stale paneer like a stone and just like an eraser. I wish I can upload a video it literally sounded like a stone. Hard to eat. Terrible. They sold the same paneer before as well.

Amazing food, one of the best paneer saag and thali we had. My parents were visiting from India and we wanted to customize the order, the chef did a fantastic job. Greatly recommend this place.

The service was welcoming, patient and helpful. The place was empty of sit down customers, but the call ahead orders going out of there were constant. The Butter chicken, garlic naan, and veggie samosa was very good. Will definitely go back.

The best thing that happened to me in D.C. Be it fast foods aur proper meals…they are absolutely delicious. Got the same Indian taste..so went consecutive days. My friends from Ethiopia and Laos were short of words. One of them literally wanted to kiss the chef. I had to calm her down.
