Short walk from most hotels and food was great! We got there right in 6 and it was empty, but within 30 mins it started to fill up. The price and was good for the food.

The appetizers were great! We had samosa chaat and veg pakoras. However, the food was not. The “biryani” wasn’t biryani. More like butter chicken rice. But it was still good whatever it was.

They said they could do lamb masala which wasn’t on the menu. It was very good, and very quick. clean tables, tile floors (alot of Indian places have carpet),well lit (a lot of Indian places are much dimmer). friendly, good layout. Right by the Modern Hotel. Certainly liked it.

Food was good but the management seemed like they were not really happy to serve the parton’s. The Garlic Nan was soft and delicious, we had only ordered two to begin with but ended up ordering two more as it was fresh and tasty. The palak chicken was also really good and went well with the naan. The chicken biryani was a disaster, they just sauteed some curry chicken with rice and called it biryani, didn’t taste at all like biryani rather more like chicken curry mp rice. The dal makhni was okay and white rice seemed like it could have been washed a bit more. They added an 18% service charge to the bill and still suggested the 15-20% tip in the bill which was weird.

A few of my friends and I have been craving Indian cuisine lately. We decided to try Bombay Palace and were pleasantly surprised. We split the naan bread, rice, mango lassi, sizzling shish kebab, and coconut shrimp curry. The taste of the shish kebab took me back to Istanbul. Savory, aromatic, and precise, no fluff, just true flavorful perfection. The portions were plentiful. Clean, pleasant atmosphere, royal service, careful attention to our needs.

The food was not authentic at all and taste was also way below average. The lamb shish kebab had a strange odor and the chicken karahi was not really chicken karahi instead it felt like a mixture of butter chicken with a few other elements that made it worse. The worst part was the chicken biryani which NOT a biryani instead it was just plain rice mixed with the same masala they had used for the karahi and it felt terrible. In fact when we placed the order we overheard the manager say “yeh chicken biryani kisnay order karli?” (Translation in English: “Who ordered chicken biryani?”) as if he was perplexed and shocked about it. If you dont know how to cook something then you should place it in your menu or offer to serve it. We even pointed this out to the manager who did not acknowledge it and instead just laughed saying it is what it is as if he was mocking us. Overall it was a terrible experience and I would not advise anyone to come here.
