Yesterday we visited this restaurant and had a few entrees and appetizers, all of which were good , as well as a hot and sour soup that was full of color and test less . I asked them to replace the item or cancel the order because the color is sticking to my tongue and I could see color sticking to the bowl, but no use . The staff is pleasant and attentive, but it’s still not worth it.

Our food and service were both Amazing. Vegetarian Samoas came out only 5 or so minutes after we ordered, and our meals of Shrimp Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan came out only 10 or so minutes later. Super fast service the night we went – it was not very busy.

Our date was SUCH a success! This place is officially our new favourite restaurant! We got chicken vindaloo, garlic naan, samosas with mint chutney and tamarind chutney, and mango lassi! The server went above and beyond to help us decide what to get and explained everything in detail. The entire staff was very friendly

The food took 45 mins to be made which is understandable I got garlic naan, chicken curry, and chicken tiki masla with rice, but it doesn’t taste like authentic Indian food. It was very bland like they got it off a Walmart international shelf. We all have blonde hair and found a black hair in the chicken curry. They proceeded to ask more questions and assumptions to why the hair was in the curry. They didn’t want to refund for the one meal that I won’t eat and said the owner wouldn’t be back for a couple of weeks. I won’t be back.

I went here yesterday with my husband for lunch, and everything was absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the decor is fantastic. The menu had a large variety without overwhelming you with too many choices. The staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. Perhaps the best dining experience you can find in Carbondale.
