I had take out from this place for the first time today and like it’s say “ first Impression is the last Impression “ and I am so impressed by the food . I do wanna say if you like Indian food so this is the best food place In Indianapolis area .

We were driving through town and had a craving for Indian food. Bombay Masala was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We ordered Aloo Gobi for my vegetarian daughter, as well as Garlic Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Masala for us meat eaters. Every. Single. Bite of Every. Single. Dish was SO delicious! This is literally finger licking good to the last bite! We also ordered roti, and of course mango lassies. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. It is now on our list for birthday dinners. The family who runs this restaurant was super nice too! We will definitely be making the trip to Crawfordsville for Bombay Masala!

I just found this place the other day. It sits back off the road so it’s easy to drive by, even though I live very close. Sadly, I also found out today, they’re going to close. I am sure the location is the issue since the food is the best Indian food I have had. If it’s not too late and you get a chance to try them before they lock up, you should definitely do so.

Tried Bombay Masala for the first time last night and I’m hooked! Food was incredible, packed so well for takeout. Serving size was perfect. Staff was also very kind and helped me choose an appetizer. Will definitely be trying more here soon.

Have gotten take out 3 times since opening and food is authentic, family style and delicious. Best chutney ever! This not a place for having a buffet mindset. So it is a little more expensive and you’re getting one dish for x price…but it is worth it and portions justify cost. One dish fed me for 3 days!

Just ordered takeout at Bombay Masala. Amazing taste, deep flavors that were fresh and not oily at all, and the portion sizes were plentiful. The only drawback is that they skimp on the amount of chicken in butter chicken and I had just 3 malai koftas (cheese balls) in a whole lot of gravy, felt like I got the short end of the stick there. Hence docking a star.

Chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, Naan, veggy pakora, a mango lassa and even kheer for dessert. The wife and I are stuffed beyond capacity and very happy they were open. Everything was awesome and fragrant, crispy and tender. It was probably one of the best indian meals I’ve had in a very long time. I just hope they move into brownsburg to be a little closer to me!

I grew up outside of the US eating Indian food weekly. Despite living in 3 states (Texas, Illinois and Indiana) I’ve never been able to replicate that authenticity until today. I’ve often found “spicy” to be US spicy – also known as “mild” to everyone else. Bombay Masala does a good job of making even traditionally mild dishes such as Tikka Masala “spicy” upon request. Truly believe this might be the best Indian restaurant I’ve found in the US. There are some good competitors nearby for sure (I’ve tried 4, all are decent), but for me – this is better.

Got take-out here for the first time today. I liked the Chili Chicken although “spicy” wasn’t very hot (I will ask for it spicier next time). It was my kids first time having Indian, and they all enjoyed the Butter Chicken, Chili Chicken, and Garlic Naan. Definitely going back soon and thrilled to have Indian food in the area.

Absolutely delicious. We had our favorite Indian place for a while, until we discovered Bombay Masala. My wife and I love their masala recipe. And, they’re super friendly! Btw, we live downtown if that gives you any context as to how good this place is.
