DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Horrible, horrible service and they don’t care about your allergies. I ordered the tofu masala from their vegan menu (Vegan Seeds of India on grubhub) from delivery and I specifically stated “no dairy” (as I have an allergy, but I was ordering from a supposed vegan online menu anyway). I got the food, ate a few bites and realized that the “tofu” they gave me was actually paneer, aka CHEESE! I called them to ask, only to find out that Vegan Seeds of India is a ghost kitchen from this restaurant, and they confirmed it was cheese and that the online delivery mistakenly says tofu and they claimed they have brought it up to grubhub before to remove it. My question is…why would you still bring cheese to someone ordering from an online vegan menu when you know they ordered tofu and when the order notes specifically say NO DAIRY. I now have a horrible allergic reaction!!! When I looked at the grubhub reviews after the fact, someone else had complained about the exact same issue a year ago! So they have been delivering paneer cheese (which looks similar to tofu) to people ordering tofu off of a vegan menu for god knows how long!! Dairy allergies are serious first of all, second of all serving cheese to someone who is vegan is seriously ethically wrong. Very bad business.

I was in Brooklyn visiting friends and they took me to Bombay Kabob. We were looking for somewhere where my friends could bring their dog. They allowed us to bring their dog inside the restaurant as long as she stayed in the carrier. I ordered the pre fix which was a four course meal and it was delicious. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and a couple of things I haven’t had before . Our server Mohammed (I think he was also the owner) was very kind and offered us menu items on the house. He genuinely cared if we were having a good experience. I will be returning!

Pretty good Indian place! Their dinner set menu is a great deal – you get a soup, a small appetizer, a main dish with rice and naan, and a rice pudding for dessert for $16-18. Vegetarian options are cheapest with a small premium for chicken and lamb.

UPDATE DEC. 2018: I just love this restaurant. It’s small and homey, and the people are so kind. The food is terrific. The samosas are so flaky, and everything is just right. I recommend the tandoori chicken (I prefer tikka because it’s boneless) and the naan, of course. If you can’t get here, they do deliver and it’s great then too — but if you can stop by it’s a great small spot. The lunch special is very fairly priced and a good opportunity to get used to the offerings.

Not one single thing takes away a whole star by itself. People are so nice, its quiet, food tastes good. Portions not large but not small either. Rice was dry, lamb chops seasoning was amazing. Food overall tasted great. Price not cheap, but not too expensive from average. Fact that its halal is great too.
