One of my favourite places in San Diego. Comfortable and lowkey ambiance and great service. Everything on the menu is wonderful – this is a great place to try new things and learn about different dishes. My favourites include the cauliflower, chicken roganjosh, paneer saag, and ras malai. Great vegetarian and vegan options, and nuts/dairy are clearly marked on the menu

I really enjoyed the food. We ordered a 3 entry combo and special lamb. The portions are large so we automatically get our lunch for the next day. Highly recommend the lamb and chicken. The lamb is soft and the yellow curry chicken has a great coconut flavor. I was here a few years ago, and they refreshed my impression of bombay coast as they did better than the bombay coast at UCSD (now closed). It’s great that the food quality is still high after many years.

Awesome lunch specials, a lot of flavor bombs for your taste buds! You get to choose 3 items from a pretty good sized list of meat or veggie dishes, comes with super light & fluffy Naan bread, a small side salad next to a plate of jasmine rice. You really can’t pick a bad dish here, they’re all good!

I ordered the lamb samosa which was great, loved it. Then a 3 item combo, with chicken tikka masala, mango chicken, and a paneer curry.

Not authentic. It doesn’t taste bad. There is a Mexican overtone to the flavor. The Nan is not Nan. It’s pizza dough. If you want authentic I would suggest somewhere else.

We had been told this is best Indian food by multiple locals in SD and refuse to go to another Indian restaurant because of this.

Good food . Briyiani and shrimp popcorn is tasty. Naan bread was bad . It seems like no Indian restaurants in San Diego that i ordered knows how to cook naan . Its a shame . If you can’t make the food right stop selling them or learn to cook it right . Biriyani has some raw tomatoes on top , if i need salad i would order it separately or give us an option to add or remove stuff while we order . Otherwise Biriyani was good .
