We found this restaurant by Google maps. I wanted something wholesome after having surgery on base and to try something new; not a chain. Everything we ordered was delicious. The lumpia was fresh, hot, and cripsy. The pork soup was amazing. Would be a perfect dish if you were sick. Was so comforting after my surgery. Even the romaine and the dressing were a perfect combination with great flavors. We had to order the lumpia dessert to take home to our boys. They were a huge hit with everyone. We will definitely have to go back so we can take our boys! The inside atmosphere was a little sterile, but the food more than makes up for it. There is not a lot of seating. We did take ours to go, but you can dine in comfortably. The service was top-notch. Friendly and patient, while we perused the menu, making tough decisions from all the tasty looking options. They even double bagged my soup to ensure it would not leak.

This is a hidden gem in Havelock. The Pacific Asian food offered here brings happiness to the taste buds. The Huli Huli chicken was tender and flavorful. I was offered a tasting of the kimichi noodles and loved them and will be ordering those in the very near future. They are sweet and paired really well with the chicken. My mom, who is gluten-free, really enjoyed the Lumpia and the bean thread noodles. The added vinegrett sauce was the absolute perfect touch to the meal.

You need to patronize this restaurant if you are ever near Havelock. Employees/owners incredibly friendly and actually sound happy that customers are there. The very bubbly cashier who I think was the daughter of the owner even played with our toddler when she came back out to ask us how we liked our tacos. Tacos filling and very tasty, with good sauce on the side and some excellent mildly sweet and spicy soy sauce-like sauce on the tables. Just an all-around excellent experience. We will be back.

The Boka Nina’s food truck was at The New Village Brewery in Oriental, NC last night and it was crazy good! I had the Hula Hawaiian and it was some of the best food that I’ve ever had. The seasoning gave the meat such a delicious flavor and the sides really completed the experience. You gotta go get some of their food! It’s awesome!

If anyone happens to be driving through Havelock, North Carolina, you must stop at this establishment. The food is authentic and delicious. I haven’t had a single meal I didn’t love. I recommend Boka Nina’s Pacific Fusion. It’s one of my favorite places to go. They are also extremely friendly and will explain any of the menu items. This place is a MUST!!

Talk about knocking it out of the park…way to go Havelock!!! One of the few restaurants in Havelock that is “slap your Mama good!” The Boka has my business! The greatest mix of Pacific Islander food you will ever experience in the USA (especially Havelock). Great food, perfect portions and a great staff! Don’t fall asleep on this place Marines!!!
