The restaurant is quaint. It has an open kitchen area, so you can see your food being prepared. We walked in and there were no other diners in the restaurant, there were three people at the bar. The floor was being cleaned with bleach and water and the smell was so overpowering, my eyes started to water.

Recently, I found Bogle Cove when searching for a local oyster house. We decided to check it out last night for happy hour. Upon arrival we quickly realized there were no mask or social distancing restrictions. The bar was full and no distancing. Ok! Our waitress wore her mask correctly for most of the time, but she quickly became busy, the only waitress! She was a very nice young lady and did a great job! The waitress was really informed and had to ask someone else details. Definitely over priced for the appetizers and many of the menu items. The male bartender delivered drinks to our table, no mask!, No mask for most patrons going to the bathroom, standing at the bar, going out to smoke…… The ventilation was horrible, we came home smelling like fried food! Not a good thing! Don’t get me wrong I don’t like wearing a mask, but I would really like to move on past the Pandemic. So get your act together and become part of the solution.

Truthfully my experience was really only three stars, but the place is new and I think it has a lot of potential. The food was great and reasonably priced. The $1 happy hour oysters were fresh and delicious. My daughter’s steak was perfectly cooked and my fish was very tasty. The restaurant was packed and the service was a little chaotic. It look a while for us to get our entrees, but attribute all this to the growing pains of a new restaurant. I’ll definitely try it again in a few weeks.

Bar tender literally running. No other staff. Oysters Rockefeller terrible. Huge chewy terrible with onions smothering them. Thirty dollar entrees. Scallops and Sea Bass. My wife couldn’t even eat her dinner. Sad. Obviously staff overwhelmed. Kitchen can maybe put out burgers. I will never eat here again. I need a shot of tequila to cleanse my pallet Terrible

Only had raw oysters and a salad. Both were delicious. Saw some entrees coming out of the kitchen that looked divine. Server was very sweet, but as you’d expect in a brand new spot, didn’t have full command of the menu yet. Nice vibe and lots of smiles.

My wife and I went there on a Sunday night when they have $1 oysters and $2 domestic bottles all day. Everything we got was AMAZING. Oysters, clams with white sauce appetizer (and you HAVE to dip the grilled bread of course!), oyster stew and a burger. Carlos is a magician in the kitchen and Mike, the owner, and our waitress, Jody, were happy to have us join them. This is a hidden gem that will not stay hidden for long.

Great new place in Pike Creek; nice atmosphere and friendly staff; food was fantastic! Not normally a fan of oysters but these were worth it. A good place to bring the family or to hang out at the bar with friends. My only suggestion would be for them to expand the beer options – need more local beers!

Went there for dinner, food is really good. My problem is that I got charged $3.00 for each soda my wife and I ordered. We had 2 sodas during the dinner and had a third just sitting after the dinner talking and waiting in dessert. Not too mention was asked if want want refills the entire time and sometimes even took the old ones away half empty to bring us new ones. I really don’t understand. I asked the waitress if that was a mistake but she said that’s what they do. If in case this is the policy you should rethink it because it’s insane to pay $18 for sodas for 2 people during dinner.

From the time you walk in, you feel comfortable… as if you were visiting old friends. Music is a good oldies mix spanning the years. TVs are on to watch the games. Very good food. Not your typical bar food. Everything on the menu is cooked with attention to detail. Our waitress, Jodi, was wonderful and very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this resturant!
