Think back to your favorite neighbors when you were a kid. Your best friend is their son or daughter. Growing up and hanging out at their house you always felt like one of their kids. Welcome to Bogey’s. It’s not a local restaurant, it’s not a tourist restaurant, it just feels like a second home. The couple that owns the joint are the parents you wish you had, only cooler. Their house is a cinema lovers dream. They have seen the coolest movies, and have been to some very cool places, and it’s written all over their walls. After I spent 30 minutes touring their house, while sipping brown liquid, I sat down for dinner. Now I really want to live there. I ate the leftovers three days later, and their food was still as amazing as when it was delivered to my table.

Lots of young people working the place. Service was a little slow and only did what was asked rather than act on obvious visual clues. Food was good, but did not have baked potatoes and had an upcharge for other items. It’s got a great atmosphere. Very elegant but a little pricey.

I wanted to thank you for the best meal I have eaten since I was diagnosed with celiac a year ago. I was so thrilled that you had a gluten free menu that actually had amazing choices! I had the California pan seared fish with avocado, bearnaise sauce, and lemon cream sauce with steamed veggies. It was incredible! The atmosphere is wonderful! We enjoyed the live music and I loved the historical elegance! We will be sure to come again next time we visit family in Florida. If you have not eaten at Bogeys, you need to experience it! Highly recommend!

This place was amazing. We had a very large party of 17. Our waiter was just great! He was so nice and was just on top of things! The food was absolutely amazing!!! Had a Margherita and it was perfect! Definitely will be going back!!

This was my first visit to Bogey’s. We had a party of eight on a Friday night. Called ahead and was a few minutes late but they were able to accommodate us with no issue. This is a great spot to have a meal and hang out. Food was terrific for everyone and the service was fantastic. Just the fact that they tolerated our crew was a testament to their professionalism. We will most certainly be back.

A bustling, popular restaurant in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Bogey’s Bar & Restaurant is one of those shining examples of all around excellence in restaurant dining. Reservations are recommended, but despite a full restaurant on a busy Saturday evening, our hostess found us a table within three minutes of arriving, despite our lack of a reservation. Allex, our server was friendly, professional and attentive, as were other servers who constantly refilled our drinks as needed. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere perfect for a nice night out on the town. Prices were reasonable and everyone was delightful. I heartily recommend Bogey’s Bar & Restaurant in DeFuniak Springs. – A food lover from Texas!

Was excited for prime rib night. Made reservations as they said to do also had to tell on phone what size we wanted and how we wanted it cooked. Got there had to do all that over again! Salad was white iceberg lettuce one slice cucumber. Had to remind young man I ordered a drink. Took a while to get food. Prime rib was very fatty. Potatoes were cold. Waiter was not very good. Nice building though but won’t be back.
