I was there last Saturday, and I was advised every table was waiting over an hour for food, including simple sandwiches, owing to issues in the kitchen. Our server (Sutton?) was wonderful and accommodating. It took about 20+ minutes for our appetizer to arrive, which was calamari, overcooked to a dark brown imperfection. We waited an hour or more for the rest of our food. I could see other patrons getting irritable and/or drunk. After a day on the links, I’m sure libations were the first consideration, since there’s “a sandwich in every beer.” I fault management, or lack thereof, for a kitchen unable to turn over orders, especially appetizers. If it had been my restaurant, I would have been comping 20% off every bill for the egregious wait, but the servers were on their own to manage damage control for a kitchen in utter chaos. I worked many years in the service industry and this place is unforgiveable.

Very beautiful setting and a calm spot to eat in a casual atmosphere. We loved our experience here and we will be back again. It was a stark contrast to the hustle of the more touristy locations in the area. Thanks for a great experience.

At the Leland Lodge, four seasons indoor and outdoor dining with a spectacular view of the golf course and Lake Leelanau. Try the grilled Brussel sprouts appetizer..to die for! Enough for 4 people too. And craft beers on tap. Plus a wine bar, so many temptations!

The 3 for service is not a fair service question when the season hadn’t started yet! Slow, but the staff was SO thin. I wasn’t anybodies fault! The porch view overlooking the golf course can’t be beat, good wine list, and random deer wandering around. Very (on the porch!) dog friendly!!! This is a nice place!

Ate outside. Very pleasant in the shade. Jillian, our server, worked hard to accommodate us and was very attentive. The food was reliably good, though the whitefish in my sandwich was a little overdone.

We ate here for a number of meals over the course of a week. Each one was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly. The bar put together some great beverages too.

The whitefish had an incredibly pungent flavor, which is questionable considering it’s from Fishtown. The wings were dry and overcooked. The Brussels spouts were fried beyond anything we’ve ever eaten.

Whitefish was old, smelled fishy, and tasted awful. Service was indifferent and slow without reason the restaurant was not busy.

We had a great evening here thanks to our server, Jillian! She was extremely kind, attentive and hilarious. The restaurant and food on their own were great, but the service blew it out of the water for us. Thanks for a great dinner and night in Leland!
