Latin themed restaurant with Cuban food. Clean place with a welcoming staff. The service was great and the atmosphere was more on the quiet side but good. Everything was great but the food. It was well cooked with quality ingredients but the seasoning was missing, not even salt. Living in Miami, in the heart of Latin cuisine, I didn’t enjoy the food.

Don’t miss the Cuban sandwich- so delicious. It’s enough for two and a bargain at $11.00. The drinks are cold and refreshing. The servers are prompt. Try the hidden speakeasy style bar in the back of the restaurant.

Good food. I ate Tempeh for the first time and it tasted good. The Tempeh (soy beans) and spicy slaw are a great combination You can dine inside or out. The friendly service staff topped off a nice dining experience here.

Bodega was listed as one of “The Best of the Bay” restaurants by the Tampa Bay Times. I intended to try their Cuban, but saw the “Pollo Loco” listed as a special. I did not regret my choice. Seriously crunchy, perfectly cooked chicken with a sweet heat sauce and an excellent slaw on a brioche bun made this sandwich crazy good!

Woke up from having a medical procedure and was suddenly craving a good Cuban sandwich and since Bodega was just a few blocks away, it just seemed like a good idea. And it was delicious! I don’t get downtown that often but when I do, I like to eat here. One of the best Cuban sandwiches in Tampa Bay.

The food was delicious! If you’re a fan of cuban sandwiches I would highly recommend this place. The vibe inside is a little hipstery just like the area it’s in. That isn’t a bad thing. The parking wasnt bad either. On a Saturday afternoon we were able to find decent parking. The only small issue is that the inside was a little dirty. Non of the available tables were clean. There was paper towels and crumbs on the open tables. Again not a huge deal but slightly annoying. The food was worth the visit for sure though. Try the Lechon!
