Absolutely incredible service and delicious food. The smoked duck is out of this world. And the pizza is some of the best I’ve had. I’ve had a lot of wood fire pizza, but this came out hot, burnt just the right amount. I got the forager and the mushrooms were crisped, the whipped got cheese was spectacular, and the egg was runny. The roasted Cauliflower was also yummy and the server was so friendly, helpful, cool, and amazing. The dessert is all made in house and the chocolate cake was very moist.

A gem!!! Nestled in the former VFW building in Waconia, it has a restaurant on the upper level and a speakeasy-The Brass Hat- in the lower level. The Brass Hat lends to perfectly made cocktails, exquisite food and a cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed an Old Fashioned and a Remember The Main cocktail along with the Smoked Duck in the Shares section of the menu. Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend coming here!

Creative menu with something for the entire family. Salads are amazing and the best crust is some of the best I have had. Don’t forget to try brunch at Bode Gray’s!

On a whim, we decided to give Bodie Gray’s a try, and we’re thrilled we did! We started with the smoked duck starter and old fashioned cocktail, and the sweet and smoky flavors blended beautifully. I’m usually not fond of “funky cheese,” but the pairing of tangy cheese with the salty duck and sweet cherries was out of this park.

We went to Bode Gray’s this week. It’s a unique and pleasant atmosphere. The menu is not huge but it has enough variety to peak a family’s interest. It was fun. The price was what I would have expected to pay. The most important aspect of the place was – would I go back for another visit and I think I would have to answer yes. It was a positive experience. The food was pretty good.

I had the grilled trout. It didn’t say if it was a fillet or the whole fish so I ordered thinking it was the whole fish but was presented with a charred filet. It was very tasty but I wish that they described the dish better. Drinks did take a while and the owner seems like he is still learning the table numbers as he gave our drinks to the wrong table. I had some tastes of my friends pizza and it was very tasty.

Every bite was delicious. We shared a variety of menu items to get a taste for what they had to offer. Incredible! It is clear that every ingredient was chosen carefully. I had a Bloody Maria that had a delicious original flavor. The ‘salt’ on the rim was even created in-house with an amazing blend. Tiffany, one of the owners, made great recommendations and made us feel very welcome for our first time there! We can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu!

Wow!! We had another excellent experience last night. Our group of 10 were attended to and all of us enjoyed our selections. The pizza is always outstanding as is the appetizers and especially those sexy cocktails!!!

I am a really positive person and I hate doing this, but I have never had a worse experience in my life at a restaurant. Our family of 6 went to Bode Grays tonight to celebrate a belated birthday for my 13 year old. We got there, one of the servers body checked another and she spilled the whole glass tray of waters all over us. Breaking glass on the table and my kids. The manager came over and started to wipe it up, I had to ask to be moved to another table as there were glass shards all over. We were super nice about it all, accidents happen, not the waitresses’ fault. Moved tables, ordered food and plenty of drinks. Not one single thing comped, not one kids meal or drink. I went up to ask the manager about it. He says “I thought we were all good, accidents happen” I said yes, they do, but considering you broke glass all over my kids and spilled water all over them and then I had to ask to be moved to avoid glass shards, I thought at least a kids meal or something would be done. He offered a discount on a future meal…no thanks. We spent $210, and I tipped the waitress another $40 and left. I wont be back again. I love to support small businesses that actually support the community back. We have been to and love the theater next door a million times, that guy knows service.

Exceptional service and food! We ordered the focaccia with pesto butter and 2 pizzas (the tall hat and the bianca). Everything came out quickly and was delicious! Be sure to try out this gem in Waconia. We’ll be back. Can’t wait to try the speakeasy in the basement next time.
