We were quite happy to find this place in our hotel and enjoyed our meal tremendously. The steaks were awesome. They were cooked to perfection. I also had shrimp and a crab cake that were exceptionally delicious as well. If you plan on staying in Nashville, I would highly recommend planning a date night here. Our server was informative, attentive, and friendly but not overbearing. The house red wine paired well with my dinner, and I could not have enjoyed my night out with my wife anymore. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area again.

Birthday dinner was a success! Wife and I started with an order of the calamari. The cocktail sauce was a bit spicy, which made it even more delicious. We both ordered filets. They had crispy edges and cooked to medium inside. The steak were delicious. We ordered the lobster mac & cheese, which was the best side dish in our opinion. I also had the fried lobster tail. It was an amazing dinner, and the service was great.

Went for dinner. Had an appetizer and ordered 2 entrees and a side. All the food was good, although a bit higher priced than what it was worth.

We’ve been to Bob Sambol’s “OG” location in Dallas, the location in Grapevine, and the location in Fort Worth. (We are from the DFW area). This location is good. A little loud. Pork chops were great. Wine list was good, but Wine Spectator award winner Worthy? Maybe not that location specifically? Dessert was great. Key lime Pie and the Peanut butter ice cream were very very VERY good. Connected to the Omni Nashville like the Fort Worth location so convenient if you are staying in the Omni or visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and you have reservations there right after.

My boyfriend’s grandfather was excited to take us to Bob’s and had talked it up repeatedly so my expectations were high though in line for a fine dining steakhouse. I’m not one to write reviews, let alone negative ones, however the service was inattentive at best. We had to ask other servers to not only get our server but to get more silverware, to bring more share plates, the list goes on… and when a manager checked on us, literally right when our food came out, I had not cut into my veal chop yet, only to discover is was undercooked. No one came by after that, not even our server, for almost 30 minutes, so I couldn’t ask someone to grill it a few more minutes. To that point I had to get up and go to the bar just to ask where the restrooms were! I had to ask another server AGAIN just to get our plates cleared when everyone else was finished and we had to ask a different server for to-go boxes. A steakhouse of this caliber with the price points on the menu that they are should warrant better service than what we received. Food was good but service brought that down a notch. Lastly, I didn’t understand the giant jar of pickled peppers and pickles. It seemed awkward and odd for the portion sizes and of course, we didn’t get any story behind their purpose from our server. The look wasn’t very appetizing

We had such a great dinner at Bob’s! Our waitress Connie was so amazing she was very attentive outgoing and seemed to genuinely care how our experience was. That’s really hard to find anymore! Oh and the steak and mashed potatoes were amazing can’t forget to mention that!

I really wanted to love this place. My husband and just ate there in a group setting (about 20) with a set menu. The menu included the Bruschetta, a soup or salad, ribeye with shrimp, lobster macaroni, and cheesecake. The Bruschetta was fine, the lobster bisque was good, but the steak and shrimp dish was terrible. I love a good rare steak, but that was something else. It also was not seasoned well. It was a disappointment for most of the group to be served that from a fine steakhouse. Second, my shrimp were well over done. I love shrimp, but I could finish one of only two pieces because it was that bad. I had to excuse myself from the table because I felt ill following that dish. The lobster Mac was the best part of the meal. I’ll give you that, but I could not even touch my cheesecake from feeling so uneasy. I packaged it up for an unhealthy breakfast, which was good. My husband and I both felt uneasy after the entire meal. So much so that we went back to our hotel room (not at Omni) and went to bed rather than enjoy the rest of the evening. I think that it was simply the fact that it was a larger group so the food did not come out as well cooked then if we would have eaten there individually, but I was AMAZED at how bad the steak and shrimp dish was. It was a sad start to our Nashville trip.

This dinner was to celebrate my husbands 75th Birthday. The restaurant was great food, the waitress was wonderful. The manager came around often to be sure everything was to our liking. I would recommend this to all especially with older children. I will return on my next trip to Nashville

Splendid dining establishment to enjoy well prepared steaks or chops. Side dishes are amazing. Don’t forget to order their amazing lobster macaroni and cheese. Rivals lobster mac out of Maine. The staff provides excellent, professional service, which adds to the entire dining experience. Great place for an intimate dinner for two or a larger contingency of family or friends. Make your reservation early in the day to secure your table. Arrive early for a pre-dinner drink at the bar. Enjoy yourselves. It’s worth it.
