Drove in from Houston for a business trip felt like eating BBQ Google it and Bob’s pop out . Drove to location order sliced brisket and rib plate my compadre order 3 meat plate . Needless to say brisket and ribs are very good and hospitality is very welcoming we even had a laugh at the end over slices of bread. Awesome people.

What a gem. We got the 3 meat plate plus a hot link. Ribs, chicken & brisket. Beans and potato salad. Everything was delicious. Ribs was our favorite. Sides were seasoned well. Bob was a delight to talk to. A must stop if you are in east Texas.

This place was great! The brisket melts in your mouth. It had the beautiful pink smoke penetration. The potato salad and beans were absolutely delicious! The folks running the place were very friendly and personable. If you want bbq in Henderson, Texas, this is the place to go!

We’re from out of town & got recommended this place. You don’t get much for your money. I wasn’t too fond of the bbq but my bf loved it. I got chopped brisket sandwich plate & he got a rib plate. The potato salad was my fav tho! It was delicious, the baked beans were good too, I wasn’t too fond of the coleslaw either. The boudain was dry & tasted old. The people inside the store were nice ☺️

For a hole in the wall BBQ this place is extremely clean, this is a family run business and when you’re in here you’re treated like family. Now onto the food I’ve had the brisket and the sausage and the ribs and it’s all good the only thing I can’t figure out is why you would take good food and heat it up in the microwave and and destroy a perfectly good piece of meat. The bands are homemade and the potato salad is store bought and some of the pies. With that all said I still keep coming back.

I love this place it reminds me of my home town rib place called Hilary’s in Waukegan IL. The only thing I find lacking it the portion for the price. Sausage only 6 pieces and brisket 7 slices. I know got to make a profit, but you don’t have to make a killing. Let your customer enjoy. Especially out of towners.

We ordered about half the menu. From the sausage to the sweet tea, everything is delicious. They have the best sweet tea and baked beans!! My husband’s favorite was the sausage. He loved the flavor! Best bbq place around!
