Went for breakfast, quick service and the food was fine. Great spot for watching the plans take off from. Most of the seats are outside (shaded) but when it’s really hot or raining it’s probably less than ideal.

So …I have never been to Long Beach Airport. My flight was delayed so I went to Boathouse. Bartender was a kick. Great personality. Awesome service . Victor was server. Very personable. Met cool ladies there at bar. We had a blast laughing and cutting up. Will go back for sure !!

Great place to eat and grab a drink or two while waiting for your flight. I had the Coconut Shrimp and my son had the Kobe Burger. Both were hella good! We shared a plate of calamari also and I had an Orchard Hard Cider and a Sidecar cocktail… Really good! Our server Brittany and the Bartender Giovanna were awesome and were super friendly! Will eat when at this airport again for sure.

Deja at the Boathouse on the Bay at the Longbeach airport is fantastic. When flying out I always come early to enjoy their food. But I keep forgetting how fast they are. You have to try the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich, INCREDIBLE.

We went there for a special occasion recently. Upon being seated, we were not greeted by a server until we asked after waiting about 15 minutes. We tried getting a couple of employee’s attention and they just looked right through us as if we were invisible. When we did finally get our server’s attention she just shrugged it off and said she didn’t see us at first and was distracted with some other tables. Also, when we were first seated a couple of us almost slipped on a puddle of water next to our table and pointed it out to a server or busser who said they would get someone to clean it up and no one ever did, so the slip hazard was still there every time one of us needed to use the restroom and when we left. Most of the food was delicious but we were disappointed there was not a surf and turf option nor lobster tail. Their steaks are apparently better than their seafood. The calamari has a lot of greenery and fried onions added so the portion was a bit disappointing. The scallops only come with four and a small bed of rissotto. The chilean seabass was good but not amazing…but the new york and filet were “like butter” amazing, as well as the sushi rolls. Speaking of rolls, no bread or rolls were offered, not sure if they just don’t serve them? The soup was tepid but we didn’t have to wait/makenthe effort to get our server’s attention. Whom by the way had a little bit of an attitude and seemed disgenuine. After our main course was served, two of us were without a fork for about ten minutes until the server came by to check on us. The musician was good, but makes it so loud on the patio we could hardly hear each other to have decent conversation. In retrospect an indoor table probably would have been better. Our heater went out about halfway through our meal and it was just moved off to the side and we had to get a bussers attention to get it addressed. He was actually very nice. It was a busy weekday evening, but didn’t seem slammed enough to justify the inattentiveness.

My friend and I were leaving Long Beach to head home. The server didn’t come to us after 15 minutes. When going to the bar to seek service was met with an attitude like she didn’t want us there. So we went across the way to 4th Street Vine and got amazing service, quality drinks, and food.
