Outstanding stop. Bbq quesadilla are off the charts. My son crushed it in seconds and he normally eats like a bird. It is not just a kid item. It was awesome. I would consider ordering myself in a future visit. Chicken was very good, pork was excellent. The ribs were good, just not as good as the other 2. Smoked green beans are a must. A sweet smoky flavor. I am a meat guy, but I took one bite and finished them before eating the meats. Yes that good.

Really good sandwich, I wish it was bigger, but great flavor and a good value. Would stop there again. The smoked green beans are the best that I have ever had. There are pieces of pulled pork in the beans, so awesome!

I ordered 4 Quesadilla combos: 2 chicken and 2 pork. Thank goodness they made the chicken first for my wife and daughter but ran out shells before making the other 2 so had to settle for jumbo sandwiches. All in all, was good. They were very apologetic. I love their BBQ sauce.

Bluegrass BBQ is the best thing Cowpens has to offer. It is definitely a top BBQ contender in Spartanburg. Their food has amazing flavor. Their staff go above and beyond and are very kind. I try to stop by here every time I am in the area. The banana pudding is the best I’ve ever had.

After driving by this place everyday for nearly a year. I finally had an opportunity to stop in. And I took it. I’m so glad I did. This little hidden gem is a great bbq restaurant. Everything is smoked fresh daily. Right out front. I enjoyed the pulled pork and rib combo. With baked beans and homemade coleslaw as my sides. And fresh homemade banana pudding for dessert.

I have eaten there a lot of times. It is good food and great service. But I have to say that the last time I was there, the ribs was dry and over cooked. The end of the ribs was like leather. For the price of them, I would not have served them to my customer.

My husband and should have taken pictures of the food served to us! My ribs were gray and black with fat through out the rack. Every bite of meat was surrounded by fat. I had to dig around and find something edible. My sides were room temp. The okra was burnt and cooked in old oil.
