Classic small-town café. The French toast is fluffy and the bacon is thick (great quality, not the cheap strips).

The food and atmosphere is great. However, I don’t think this business is going to make it. The hours only serve a small portion of the community, and the one time I was able to stop by in the time frame / days they’re open, they were closed. I’d like to offer some help: most of the community is going to work between 5 and 7am and leaving work between 3 and 5pm. Additionally, much of the community works Monday-Thursday/Friday with Friday-Sunday off. If you want to capture more of the market and stay in business, it would be very wise to operate during the times when everyone else has time to stop and eat, rather than when they’re all also working.

Had a burger. Hand made, not off the shelf at all. No grocery store hamburger buns. Nice people too.

Very cute old fashioned cafe. Pretty blue checkered tablecloths adorn the tables. Staff friendly and attentive.

To me, it’s inconsiderate for me to go into a restaurant just a short time before closing. That said, I’d just come from a dental appointment and didn’t know the hours so even though they only had twenty minutes left, the owner was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered food to go and it was delicious. Clean, friendly, great food, fair prices means a good recipe for success. I hope they do well—Quincy has long needed more top-notch places to eat.

I had breakfast at the Bluebell Cafe a few weeks ago. The two egg omelette was exceptionally good and surprisingly large. The waitstaff was young and many times that equates to marginal service… But not this time. I received excellent service.

Happened upon this gem when trying to find an open restaurant for a weekday breakfast when other local places were randomly closed. Had no major expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was quite good and welcoming, and the food was quality, more than ample, and made in-house. Looking forward to making this a regular stop.

Finally got to try this spot out. I’ve always thought this city needed a good reliable spot to get a diner breakfast and I wasn’t disappointed. $10 bucks or so is plenty to fill you up with exactly what you’d expect: eggs, sausages, and potatoes. The potatoes are always my favorite part and boy do they do them well here. This was a take out order so I can’t speak on service personally but i’ve heard it is good. I’ll be back and happily so and will update my review then. Thanks, Blue Bell!
