Authentic, homestyle food in takeout setting. Not much room to dine in but I always take out and the food is incredible. Note that if you don’t speak Spanish you may need to use a translater app to help you order but it’s all part of the experience to me

I almost left after trying to order because one of the ladies behind the counter was incredibly rude to me for my non-native Spanish (or just that I existed in her vicinity). The other two ladies were helpful and friendly. The food was SO GOOD, I have to go back and just hope I don’t see that one woman again. I got white rice, black beans, chicken and maduros and it far exceeded my expectations—amazing! 5 stars minus one for that woman, and reading the other comments I see it’s a theme.

This place isn’t what it used to be. I used to buy often but not anymore. Very small portions and the price has increased a lot. The customer service is awful. Also, they are charging 8% sales tax when Miami Dade tax is 7%.

Went there Saturday afternoon 12/12/20 the women behind the counter were very rude. There was a discrepancy on the price of the order I placed. I was told one price over the phone and they were asking for twice as much when I got there. Either way I asked about the difference still willing to pay the price. In the end the ladies were very rude made comments that I don’t listen well, I’m wrong, and can’t hear well. At that point I asked for a refund. I made it clear to them that better customer service and choices of words would have made the sale. I asked to speak with the manger. They said there was no manger. If your thinking about this place I would think twice. Go to another place where they value the customer.
