First time guest on a weekday for lunch. Ordered a pulled pork plate and half rack of ribs. The pulled pork tasted “water logged” like it had been frozen and thawed. It was the worst pulled pork ever. My sides of baked beans and potato salad were great. The bbq sauces offered on the table were all sub par…but the side of sauce with the ribs was excellent. I wanted the beef brisket sandwich….but 4 oz of brisket for over $10 is $40 a pound when you can buy a pound for good brisket in Texas for $16 @ #. So the prices are “high” here. The St Louis style ribs were below average. It was impossible to slice the ribs apart with the plastic knife they provide. I had to struggle to pull mine apart. Poorly seasoned. Will not be back. Summary disappointed.

We’ll, I think I’ve tried every BBQ place in Lynchburg now and without a doubt Blue Ridge is the best. That Carolina Hot sauce is awesome!!!

I was not very impressed. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The meat was kind of wet and tasted like liquid smoke. It was a clean restaurant, but we could have gotten something better for our money.

Scant servings for the price. Sauce wasn’t even cooked! A lot of meat on the pork bbq sandwich but not enough sauce or coleslaw. Had to bake half rack more to cook the sauce. Maybe it was a bad night…

So, I’ve come to the Graves Mill location several times and each time the food has been great but the girl at the register has not. Today, I was picking up some online orders for me and my co-workers one of which is her cousin and she let the whole restaurant know how outraged she was that no tip was on these orders. She humiliated me in front of a room full of people. She then proceeded to tip shame me to the kitchen staff in front of me. Each time I’ve encountered her I’ve always been the best customer I can be by greeting her with a smile and a please and thank you to which I’ve only gotten attitude and frowns from her in return. While waiting for the food to come she continued to mouth off to the kitchen staff about how her cousin should have tipped her, she noisily drummed her long fingernails on the counter, mean while I’m standing there trying not be so embarrassed. Here’s what I wanted to say “these orders were paid for prior to my arrival, your only role is to put a Styrofoam box into a plastic bag with the receipt. Your job is to represent Blue Ridge BBQ by proving superior customer service while you hand me my food. It is NOT your job to tip shame your customers. I will probably not be returning to this location, I will go Timberlake Road preferably on a day when this person is not working. Great food though!

Friendly staff, the food is really good I mean mouthwatering. Mac and cheese was fantastic as well as the slaw, pulled pork too. What I loved the most was their delicious burnt ends. Cool bonus, they have a veterans discount. See ya here y’all!!!

I ordered the chicken nachos. Sauce and chicken were good but all of the chips were stale as could be and I could barely bite through some of them. After the tip, it was over $10. Normally when you order nachos from anywhere else in town you get a giant plate that you can barely finish. This one comes in a small fry basket. You can get much better and much bigger nachos (without stale chips) from anywhere else in town.

Tried it for the first time last night and it was delicious. We ordered online and selected the pickup time, and walked in exactly at that time and the final item was being put in the bag and I was in and out in under 2 minutes. The young lady working the register was really friendly, and the food was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Burnt ends are hard to find and these were perfection. The green beans and cole slaw were great sides. Service was excellent!

We placed an order in store to take home. The menu online is not honored in the restaurant. When I asked about the menu online she stated that the online menu was out dated. So I ordered from the menu provided on the wall at the restaurant. First the lady at the register wasn’t very personable and understanding she rushed me through my whole order. So we order two pulled chicken platters with the two sides that it comes with and I asked for our buns to be placed separately so the buns wouldn’t be soggy by the time I got home. Then I asked for an extra side because the meal only came with two main sides so I asked for a side of Cole slaw they she said “you already picked your two sides “ then the guy from the kitchen came up and said just add an extra side. Then I asked her for extra bbq sauce on the side and her first remark was the pulled chicken already comes with bbq on it, I said yes I know that but I would like an extra cup on the side please. Fast forward I get home we sit down to eat and the bun was placed on top on the pulled chicken so the bottom bun was soggy for both meals when I asked for the buns to be placed on the side . The “pulled” chicken was not pulled at all it was clumps of chicken. The chicken did not taste like it was smoked on the smoker at all. The collard greens were placed separately and the Cole slaw was on the main hot plate with the Mac and cheese. When the Cole slaw should of been separate obviously since it was cold and the greens should of been placed with the Mac and cheese and the chicken considering that was hot food so when you heat up your food you don’t have to move your Cole slaw off the plate kind of obvious to me. Anyway long story short the customer service was horrible. The food was not good the chicken wasn’t smoky at all. The Mac and cheese was a half of a scoop. I could go on and on. But we live in a season now to where people just don’t value their jobs anymore. But we will never eat here again.
