We lucked out moving right across the street from the Izakaya. We’ve lived across the street from the Soho location for years and it’s our favorite. The LES location did not disappoint!!! This location has even more options that are no longer on the other menu. Veggie tempura is a fave. As are the ebi shumai, the grilled avocado (a new fave!) and crispy rice. Full bar and ample space for large groups. Service was lovely and sitting at the sushi bar is always entertaining. Casual or can be a place to dress up. It’s dimly lit and decorated amazingly!

Enjoyable experience. Friendly and responsive staff. Sushi was delicious with a nice presentation. Tasteful decor. Concrete minimalist in hallway. Quiet.

Aesthetically pleasing but definitely not worth the price and the quality of the food was horrible. Definitely do not come here for brunch. Eggs were over cooked, coffee were bland, toast had no butter and nothing we had was worth it. The staff was friendly and place looked nice, but that was the only plus side to our experience. For the price they charge per dish, there are definitely so many other better options!

Went for casual dinner, sashimi and sushi were average for the price but still good. The highlights of the night would be the bone marrow fried rice, savory with rich flavors. Enter the restaurant from the hotel next door to the second floor. The bar is also on the same floor with the awesome honest bartender.

Seen a lot of negative reviews but as a person whose been to a lot of sushi joints I really don’t understand it. The service was great, sushi was reasonable for the price and I felt the food was better then most spots in NY overall. Didn’t love the atmosphere tho dining by the bar but a good time overall.

Blue Ribbon Sushi certainly lives up to its name! Their sushi is absolutely top-notch, striking the perfect balance between fresh, high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. If you’re a sushi aficionado, this is definitely a spot you’ll want to check out. It’s a delight for the taste buds! I always sit at the bar. The conversation, bartender and Yankee games are a great backdrop to the menu.

I visited for early dinner, the mood was calm, comfy, and sultry. The food….The food was FANTASTIC! We had Oxtail fried rice, Duck fried rice and Blue Ribbon wings and ALL the sauces. 10/10 would do it again.

I am quite excited to finally be writing about Blue Ribbon. I have a weak spot for Japanese cuisine, and the Ribbon knew just how to rub it. Fantastic drinks, unparalleled kindness of the staff, and obviously some of the best sushi you will have in New York. The restaurant has an great decor, with a nice sphere and an efficient layout. One of those place you have to have eaten at when coming to SOHO, though you definitely need a reference, you’d walk right by this pearl.
