I had a horrific experience at blue Bay. Well, it was a busy night. We were seated after a 40 minute wait at the bar we ordered within 10 or 15 minutes. An hour later there was no food no waitress no information no nothing I went to the owner/manager and he basically insulted me I would not go back to this restaurant again if you paid me, the disrespect and poor management made me realize I never want to go to that restaurant ever again. If I could get fewer than one star, I would never ever ever again while I go there.

Nothing special. Clams were rubbery without much flavor. Giant shrimp pretty good. Onion rings terrible. All mushed together and greasy. Wife’s baked seafood casserole was so-so. Lobster was poorly cleaned and overcooked as was the haddock. The young lady who waited on us deserved 5+ stars for the work she was doing, but had to hold back at least a star for the poor planning by management. She was all by herself to service a full room plus seating people plus busing tables. She did her best without complaint. And please don’t fly that old flag about how hard it is to find staff because that is not the customers fault. Pretty forgettable experience.

If I could I would give 3.5 stars because like most places it looked like they were understaffed which is a common theme with most places these days. Our server was polite, but running around like crazy trying to keep up with everything, so she wasn’t that attentive or friendly… But again completely understandable if they were having staffing issues. Everything was a bit pricey, but everything has gone up in price at restaurants and grocery stores recently, so it’s understandable.

Very nice inside. Great portion sizes, everything was as advertised. Haddock was delicious and huge sandwhich. We loved the 7 lakes region rum drink. It was a wonderful family environment. We will definitely be back next time we are around.

The shrimp and clams were good but the lobster tails were some of the worst I’ve had. Very overcooked. The server was pleasant but even though it was a slow night (only 5 tables total), we had to find her to ask for water and drinks several times.

Way to expensive especially with their menu changing not as good of food or the same amount of food You use to get. The servers needs to step up their game as well. Not great at handling more than two tables at a time. Not really impressed any longer with to many changes. And as said their servers are horrible.

It would be better if open racism was not tolerated at the bar. Giving low stars for service due to staff being complacent. I left a full beer at the bar because people could not keep their nasty racist comments to themselves. It feels disgusting that I spent the money at a business that seems to support that.

Been here 4 times now, first time was good. Good food, good service. Then as each time I’ve gone the food has been worse and worse. Got a steak, $28, asked for it medium and got a half medium rare, half rare. Then was offered a complimentary DESSERT for it, ha. I was good. Only thing this place is good for are the drinks. Drink here eat somewhere else.
