Went to a graduation party in the back room. Considering the large group service was ok, food great and a fun time was had by all.

Food was good especially the salsa but what got me is the lady owner stealing money that was just handed to her & then acting as if she didn’t do it. Why would anyone eat at an establishment obviously filled with thieves. It’s sad because we really thought we found a new dine in spot but after watching it happen to a customer wow I mean just wow!

I was buying a new truck and asked where a good restaurant was as I had never been in Ozark. The salespeople recommended Aguava, and we are so glad they did. It’s a small but homey restaurant and the food was amazing. I had their burrito supreme, and my friend had their chicken enchiladas with beans and rice. The burrito was delicious and very flavorful, and their guacamole was homemade. The chips were warm, and the salsa had a nice kick to it. My friend said the enchiladas were like none she had ever tasted, but one was chicken, and one was beef. She doesn’t usually like beef, but she said the beef was actually really good, and the meat didn’t have a weird taste like the Mexican restaurants have. I’ve never known what that meant, but I’m glad she enjoyed it. She did say later that the beans gave her so extreme gas. I told her that’s real beans from a real can. I dont know if that’s true or not. We laughed. But none the less it was an excellent dining experience with excellent food. The service was fast, the food was hot, and we never had to wait for refills or for our ticket.

If I lived in Ozark I’d eat here at least 3 times a week. The food was amazing. The server top Notch and the music wasn’t so loud that you couldn’t here. Highly recommend.

food has always been great until tonight I went with my great aunt and her daughter and ordered the fajita with beef chicken and shrimp the shrimp and vegetables was fine but the chicken and steak was horrible tasted like it was bad. I let them know and there was no attempt to make it right and did not even try compensate us for the poor quality of the fajita. I will say everything else was good just a little ticked about the experience

I had high hopes for this restaurant. The ambience was nice but service immediately decline for my husband and I when we got our table. The waitress was overly attentive and only gave us a few seconds to decide on our meals even when we asked for longer. We waited until our meals came out before we received the margaritas we ordered. I personally love margaritas but these tasted watered down, so bad that we couldn’t even drink them. I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla and it arrived with grilled chicken on top. When I notified the waitress of the mess up she took it back for about two seconds and the kitchen staff just picked around in my quesadilla to remove the chicken. I know they didn’t recook it because I was still finding smaller pieces of chicken mixed in with my veggies. I was very grossed out as someone who doesn’t eat meat or enjoy people picking around in my food. All in all a terrible experience because I couldn’t drink my drink or eat my food and it ended up being $70 just for the two of us not including the tip. Will not be returning!

The first time I went to Blue Agave, I ordered green chicken enchiladas. I wasn’t quite impressed with them, however, I did grow up on the border and was a bit spoiled when it came to authentic Mexican food. The second time, I tried the tortilla soup and chicken street tacos; the tortilla soup lacked flavor, but the tacos were delectable. I’d definitely recommend the tacos to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food. I only gave 4 stars because I wish the other dishes were more enjoyable. But, like I said, I am more picky when it comes to Mexican food, so I believe most people would/will enjoy the dishes that I did not find impressive. Overall, this is the best Mexican restaurant in Ozark!

Love the new look. Order the special hot sauce if you like it spicy. Lunch specials are wonderful. Try a chicken Chile rellano with a guacamole taco. Perfect.

The Blue Agave Chicken was delicious. Stopped in here out of desparation. Left wanting to come back every week. The owner was very nice and helped with the selection. He picked just right for me. Chicken and shrimp with mushrooms. (I changed from Rice to Beans.) Overall a very nice meal in an out of the way place in Alabama.
