We moved to Ga from Ca and tried a lot of “Mexican” restaurants here and this is our go-to so far (from Cartersville to Calhoun). Great Margaritas (frozen & on-the-rocks). Not my favorite for beef tacos (uses ground beef for tacos, etc which is my biggest complaint) so I tried shrimp tacos and awesome! Other complaint is the beef fajitas-served fast and Not sizzling! I prefer hot plate with caramelized onion with veggies and bell peppers cooked well. Warning: large is large! Seating and atmosphere is good (bright lighting; sports on TV, and seats aren’t torn up). Also, it’s a stand-alone traditional restaurant and not a hike in a strip mall.

I’m a regular, I order a to-go order at least two to three times per week. Never had an issue until tonight, I called in like usual, and waited 30 minutes before arriving, just wait another 30 minutes when I got there, after finally receiving my order after verbalizing my frustration, my food was incorrect. This place has gone downhill with on service very quickly. Definitely lost my business for good.

If I could give them 100 stars I would. They came through in a pinch when my sister’s caterer didn’t show up. I called and they immediately started cooking. I was so impressed at how fast and how delicious the food was. We fed 60+ people in less than a hour. When I arrived to pick up the food the manager was in the kitchen hands on cooking with his staff. It was really cool to see. Job well done ✅

Loved this place when it was El Nopal. Got fajitas for 2 tonight. Agave fajitas apparently only come with 3 shrimp for a serving of 2? The steak was burnt and crispy in fajitas. How do you manage to do that with onions and peppers? Will not be back. Worst $200 I’ve spent in ages!!!
