Came here for a big party and we were sat outside at the patio to the right side. It was cold outside but they had enough warmers to keep us cozy. Everything went smoothly, the drinks came coming in, we had no issues with food orders and Luna our server went above and beyond to cater to us, she was the best! The drinks were very tasty and I didn’t eat but had a bite of my husband’s fajitas and they were delicious. The place is massive with plenty of seating inside and especially outside, they have a huge lit up patio and a playground for children.

The restaurant’s architecture is nice. The food was ok, not the best, but not bad either. The beans on the fajitas are seasoned with cumin which is not something everybody likes. Service could be better; to get orders and drinks, we had to keep calling the waitress. Drinks, like Margarita, were good but expansive.

I think I’ve found my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Houston.. we had the guacamole, tacos al Carbon and Enchilada Combo plate. Going back to try the white queso and Ceviche. Lot’s of room for large groups ( there were 2 tables of 10+ in the main dining room and it didn’t make the room feel crowded or seem to slow service for any of the tables around us). Can’t wait for it to cool down to sit outside ! We’ll be back!!

Mexicano place that poshified itself and became way overpriced. The cuisine is mildly interesting and the shrimp brochette (jumbo shrimp wrapped with bacon) is pretty good. The steak and chicken fajitas are also tender and quite edible.

1st time visiting the Blue Agave Cantina and we will return for certain. Great food, I enjoyed the Snapper covered in a mixed Seafood Sauce and my brother enjoyed the Chipotle Chicken followed by a very large / tasty Tres Leches desert. Bright, welcoming atmosphere with the music and very attentive staff matching the cuisine. Lots of outdoor seating and no traffic as ambiance given the restaurant sits back and off a side street. This place is the real deal for anyone who enjoys true Mexican food and drink.

This past Monday, five of us girls got together to celebrate Vicki’s birthday. and I must say that this was our first visit they set us at a round table in the main dining area. It was very hot outside. What do you expect? It’s Texas and it was very cool and comforting. we had a mediate service by a wonderful waiter. they were very patient with us because we enjoyed our conversations better than ordering food. Margaritas and ice tea were ordered and everyone was happy. The salsa was good and the guacamole was fresh and very tasty. I just had tacos, which were very good other people had some fish and salad and something else. They said it was good but not the best they ever had.

Great service! Love Blue Agave. We had a party of 14 and we didn’t mind that they couldn’t do separate checks. We understand how frustrated can be for a waiter and other tables to wait. So we gave him 3 credit cards to split 3 different ways. Thank you Oscar!! You are awesome!!! Love the patio my kids love coming here.

2nd time here, but I wasn’t a review queen the first time, so this is my 1st review of BAC. Both experiences were great! The atmosphere is beautiful, service is terrific, margaritas are spot on a the food is delicious! It’s a little more expensive than a typical Mexican restaurant, but it’s worth it, especially if you hit the happy hour specials.

As someone who has previously worked in the service industry, I understand the challenges that come with managing large parties and splitting checks. It is typically a standard practice to take orders per group, making it easier to separate the checks for parties like ours. With this in mind, I can’t help but feel frustrated by the lack of flexibility we encountered at Blue Agave Restaurant.
