Great house wine, amazing special of the day (trout), and have the cheesecake! All were recommended by the staff and bartender… it pays to listen to thier advice! I’m coming back to try the salmon.. and then the NY strip which they also recommended.

I normally do not purchase steak when I dine because I feel like the steak I cook at home is just as good, if not better, than the average steak in a restaurant. The steak here was phenomenal. Be aware though, that a phenomenal tag comes with a hefty price. But it was extremely good! Makes a great place for a romantic dinner. Reservations are a must, there is not a lot of seating.

Expensive! Know that going in and enjoy! I like restaurants that blow my socks off. I like it when the food is so good you just suck on it to savor the flavor. I will pay for that experience $144-178 for two, no drinks. Third time in 6 weeks. Menus change depending on availability. Keeps it fresh.

Small space but large on atmosphere. This quaint restaurant offers big city taste in Gadsden. A much larger wine offering than one my ever expect in a small town with an attentive staff. Best to make reservations on weekends. Prices reflect the big city style.

This was amazing! Yes, it is a little pricey, okay it is flat out expensive, but it was totally worth it. The service was impeccable, and the food delicious. They will totally work around your dietary needs in any way they possibly can. I have had surgery and could not eat a lot, and they were going to let me order a kid’s meal. I called ahead and they were eager to assist me in however they could. When I got there, the server helped me pick out something on the menu and kept asking if I was okay, and if my food felt okay while I was eating, and she was genuinely concerned for me. Her care and attention did not go unnoticed and she was an amazing help to me. I ended up skipping the kid’s meal and got the Soup of the Day, which was a fresh clam chowder. Oh, my! It was the best soup I have ever eaten in my life. I told my mom later, I see this being something I will have to have in my future. The choices were amazing, and sounded even better. You could see by their attention to detail and the way they went the extra mile that they honestly cared about everything they did and put forth. I cannot wait to go back. This will be a special treat place due to the price, but I would love to go back during lunch. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant, and will be telling everyone I know. You must go!

Visited Blu on May 29th, 2019 for a first date and first trip to Gadsden. The owners greeted me warmly at the door and chatted with me like an old friend. They were hospitable all evening. The food and cocktails that we ordered were top notch and delicious. This is an upscale establishment and the ambiance, service and quality show it. Highly recommend you stopping in if you find yourself in Gadsden. Five out of five stars from me. Not being from the area, I asked our waitress, Kaitlyn, for suggestions of things to do. She was quick to recommend some local spots that did not disappoint.

Something is missing. The place looks trendy and offers great steaks but there were so many issues. When we arrived at 7:30pm Saturday there was no wait and empty tables. Unfortunately the manager refused to seat us stating we did not have reservations but could sit and eat at the bar. Luckily the other hostess quickly verified they did have an available table and sat us anyway.

Pleasantly surprised to find such a fine dining establishment in downtown Gadsden. What a wonderful anniversary dinner! Hands down, THE BEST steak I’ve ever eaten. Good service too. We will definitely be making the drive from Oxford to eat here again.

Filet Mignon was excellent. Shrimp Risotto special was too salty, and had only 3 shrimp – certainly not enough for an entree, especially when the server described it as hearty. Wait staff was friendly and well informed. Cab wine was very good, and the bartender knew how to make a Manhattan.

Trendy place. Nice decor. Grossly overpriced for the food. Got shrimp and grits, shrimp was perfectly cooked, but the grits were clumpy and sticky. Small portion. Crabcake appetizer was not good, and tiny. The place felt kind of pretentious. Staff was friendly, but I would definitely not go back. My husband’s steak was ok, but not any better than any other cheaper steakhouse.
