Guy at the counter was super friendly. Food was served in takeout containers for dine in. It was good, but not very spicy, even when ordered that way. Was a bit hot/humid inside the restaurant, they did their best to alleviate with floor fans/air conditioning, but only so much can be done without central air.

If you’re in Bloomsburg and looking for the BEST Indian cuisine, this is the place! The owner, Sheraz, is a real gem and an all-around wonderful gentleman. The food is fantastic and the price is right. The portions are quite large, too. You really get your money’s worth.

A pleasant and quiet dining experience with awesome food! Their butter chicken and kababs are fantastic (genuinely hard to find a place that makes good butter chicken and Bloom’s succeeds!) ♡ Very fair pricing and you get a whole lot of food for your dollar. This place gets 5 stars. Their food is sooo good (it’s hard to find really good authentic Indian food in this area but this place surpassed my expectations). I tried the falafel, the chicken tikka masala, and the garlic naan and they all tasted amazingly flavorful and fresh. Plus the people who work there are so nice and friendly!!! I love the laidback atmosphere too, it felt very home-y and relaxed.

The food is amazing. Their Butter Chicken is mouthwatering. The Chicken Biryani is fantastic. The falafel appetizer is delicious. The mango lassi is terrific. Serving sizes are very generous. Atmosphere is kind of a hole in the wall. But he food more than makes up for it.

House of Naan really surprised us with their fresh and tasty dishes which were just as good as some of the best Indian food we’ve had in NYC. What made the experience even better was the super friendly service we received. If you’re in the mood for amazing Indian cuisine, definitely give this place a try.

No no…NO! This plant-based eater was driving across central PA and desperate for something other than another boring vegetable sandwich, so I veered 6 minutes off the interstate to drive into the pleasant college town of Bloomsburg. College towns often have some incredible culinary finds: this was NOT one. First off, there is no wait staff, so you eventually figure out that you have to go up to the counter to order from the menus back on the tables. (Imagine my surprise in being asked to tip…for waiting on myself!) I decided not to order any of the South-Asian dishes, because I was already getting a bad vibe about how edible this food was going to be. Instead, I ordered the falafel platter, because the hummus and baba ganoush was said to be made daily. Wrong move. I could not recognize the hummus as such. (I realize there are many regional differences, but this hummus did not remind me of anything I’ve had from good Israeli, Egyptian, or Greek restaurants…or that I make myself The portion size was about 3 tablespoons. Despite the menu description, no baba ganoush was served but rather a tiny plastic cup of something white (Miracle Whip and ranch dressing mixed together?). The falafels seemed at least freshly made but were DRIPPING in oil, and the bread–enough for 10 times the amount of hummus served–was recognizeable neither as pita or naan and was also heavily buttered/oiled. The salad was a tiny plastic cup of shredded iceberg with 2 cucumber slices and one pink tomato slice (in August!) Afterwards, I was privileged to bus the table myself of all the disposable, unrecyclable plates, containers, and cutlery (truly shocking to find in a college town).
