This is a MUST STOP in Bloomington. We spent 5 days in town literally JUST to try all of the different international foods. All 3 of us agreed this was one of the best, 2 in fact said it was THE BEST of the entire trip. Beautiful atmosphere. We shared the amazing appetizer platter, enjoyed bubble teas, and then tried their fried rice special, won ton noodle soup, and crispy pork belly. They were indescribably fantastic and perfectly done. The pork belly had an insane broth that made me think of the pork belly as secondary in importance, it was THAT good. The won ton noodle soup is a unique spin on won ton soup with so many additional ingredients.

The ABSOLUTE BEST RESTAURANT EVER. This quaint restaurant is phenomenal. The dishes paired with the sauces will have you moaning and unbuckling your pants. You want to feast on everything. We ordered Rotisserie Chix Fried Rice, Pot stickers, Pho Beef Flank Tenderloin, Crying Tiger with CUCUMBER SAUCE OMG, Thai Dumplings, and the Duck Rice. All were amazing and more than enough.

My fav Thai spot – appetizers are fresh and some of the best in town. Curry, noodles, everything on point with flavors. Wish the parking and seating were better but food makes it worth it. So sad they close for the summer.

Blooming Thai is one of my favorite places in Bloomington. The inside is cute and there’s a nice wall with a neon sign of the name which is nice. The Thai Dumplings are spectacular. They are paired with a sweet sauce with is delicious. The pho here is my favorite in Bloomington. While others may have more of a variety of meats, this broth is unmatched in my opinion. The noodle to meat ratio is also fantastic. The service is quick and the staff is always friendly. The price for the pho is not bad either, makes me want to come back more and more!

The food actually deserved five stars, but the service only gets 2 stars. The appetizers, soup and main courses all arrived at exactly the same time. Penang curry and Tom kha soup were fantastic – pass on the fresh summer rolls. Only wine served.

This is definitely one of the best Thai restaurant I’ve been two. I had the cucumber salad and the spicy catfish. My wife had the Papaya salad. Lastly, my son had the duck dish. It all was delicious. The only down side for me was it was too much dressing on the salad. I recommend stopping here for a meal.

I got a takeout order for me and my brother. Even after an hour drive, the drinks were still amazing! My Thai iced tea was perfect and he loved his matcha even without boba!

My friends and I went here for lunch, and ordered Tofu panang curry, Chicken red curry, and Crispy pork belly with egg. We originally wanted to order Chicken pineapple lovers and spicy cat fish, but were informed that these two Chef’s specials were not available. We paid a pretty penny for the entrées, and all I can say is that I was very unimpressed. For a restaurant to not have Chef’s specials was a red flag in the first place. The pork belly was overcooked and chewy, with none of the juiciness and fatty texture, as if the sauce and meat were just haphazardly dumped together. The panang curry sauce and the red curry sauce tasted exactly the same. I was very disappointed to say the least.

Everything we tried was fantastic. The Panang curry was extremely tasty. We asked our waitress what she recommended for dessert so we tried the homemade cheesecake and it was delicious as well. You can also stop in for a milk tea or Italian soda with boba to go which are also very good.

Over cooked beef. Mushy noodles. Food wasn’t even served hot. Partner got pork and vegetables and the serving size was hardly enough to feed a child. There are better places in town. Try Bangkok Thai or My Thai.
