BloFish is reminiscent of a Tokyo sushi bar – a small, quaint space that makes you feel like you’re at home. Our goal is to leave pretentiousness at the door and create an inviting ambiance for you to enjoy one of the best meals of your life, whether it’s at our place or at yours.
With a respect and admiration for traditional omakase-style sushi, BloFish serves up top quality fish in quick, easy, no-fuss, to-go boxes that you can enjoy wherever and whenever: with friends, on the go, during a quick break, perched on the couch watching TV, or just about anywhere at any time.
BloFish Sushi emerged from a deep appreciation for highest quality fish and an infatuation with amazing food.

Had heard so many great reviews of this place from friends, so it pains me to write this (well, maybe not). Small, loud place, was staffed only by 3 college students, including the young American kid preparing the sushi. Prices are astronomical, on the order of NYC omakase — cost was $110 per person, and we all left marginally hungry. Roll pieces were tiny, thin, not tight. Fish was overall decent, but basically every other spot in Boulder has better fish {try Tasuki for great quality, value; or Japango for very expensive, but high-quality food}. The young waitress was utterly amazing, handling the whole restaurant reliably by herself, great attitude and attention all night. Given that the small place had a fishy smell when we entered, and the whole meal was chaotically unpleasant, I should rate Atmosphere a 1. But it’s a cute enough place on 14th/Pearl, so I can be generous. Unclear how this place will stay in business, unless they get a real sushi chef and clean things up a bit to warrant the high prices

Sustainability spruced seafood, tiny indoors, super simple and high quality dishes – loved the agadashi tofu, the seared cod appetizer, and salmon sashimi (and make sure you sit down when you use the restroom there – you can thank me later )

We just happened to walk by this place on a rainy/cloudy day, and they had the small patio and door open. We had our pup with, and they were happy to dry off a spot outside and seat us! The fish had (literally) just been flown in and was being prepared, so everything available was extremely fresh. Not to mention they have seasonal and special nigiri/sashimi that tends to be hard to find around here. 10/10, easily in my top 3 sushi places in Boulder/Denver and surrounding areas. I will definitely be back for a tank top to support y’all!! Thank you for the wonderful food!

One of the best Sushi places in Boulder. It’s definitely a little cozy (cramped) there, but the food and excellent service is worth it.

For a romantic date with my wife, I chose this sushi restaurant. I can confirm Blofish Sushi has the best chefs who cook the best Jalapeno rolls. The flavor was beyond amazing.

Although the place was crowded, the servers managed us seats and took our orders. Blofish Sushi has so many appetizers to choose from. We decided what the chef from the sushi restaurant recommended. Didn’t regret it for a second,

In my opinion all of the rolls seemed overpriced and mediocre in content. The more simple ones, as well as the sushi pieces and sashimi, were similarly priced as the more higher end. The higher end ones did not stand out in creativity (nor any special sauces topped them) and the rice proportion to the fish was pretty big. Overall the rolls just seemed overpriced. Service was on point and we felt well taken care of. The interior was modern yet cozy.

I really enjoyed the high quality of the fish and the cozy atmosphere. Sushi is one of my favorite meals out and this will be my go to restaurant for sushi in Boulder. Everything I had was delicious and fresh. I rarely write reviews but this place inspired me to do so.

If you’re looking for outstanding sushi on Pearl Street, Blofish is definitely a must-visit spot. In my opinion, it’s one of the best sushi restaurants in the area, if not the very best. The quality of the food is top-notch, and the service is exceptional. One person who deserves special recognition is Chef Will Miller – his attention to detail and culinary skills are truly impressive. I highly recommend asking for his service if you have the chance. Blofish is an excellent choice for sushi lovers and anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
