Everything tasted burnt. Saw another review about the chicken tenders so I specifically asked my waitress to ensure they weren’t burnt and they still were. Fried mushrooms were so burnt and old tasting. My meal came out cold too which is funny considering it was burnt to a crisp. Brunch burger was moderately tastey. Nothing against the waitress though she was great. The house made honey mustard was good too.

This place used to be my favorite burger place in Athens. They ground their meat on-site, and you could pick your patty size and how you wanted it cooked. When I went in last week, all those options were gone from the menu, replaced with a standard 6 oz. patty cooked well done. I decided to give it a try anyway, and it was awful. The burger was thin, overcooked, and practically tasteless. I’ve had better burgers at fast food joints. Not sure what motivated the change (probably cutting costs), but I no longer have reason to dine here.

The food looked great when I opened my take-out box. I ordered the Fat Elvis with tater tots. The tater tots were just the right consistency and crispness, but the burger was a little dry.–I was so pleased with my tater tots that I later ordered a Fat Matt with chicken and no pimento cheese. The online experience was great and I was surprised at how soon it said my order would be ready, so I went ahead and took a lunch break to go get it. It should have already been ready when I arrived, but I had to wait 10-15 more minutes upon arrival. I checked the food in the car before leaving and realized they put the pimento cheese on anyway. Since I was starving and didn’t want to wait another 15 minutes, I took a chance on my sandwich. I’d never had pimento cheese before and was pleasantly surprised, but it’s still not the way I ordered it.

Let me start by saying that the food was good. There were four adults and two children. Our grand children are one and four. The hostess tried to put us at a table that was elevated, putting our one year-old in a high chair eye level with the table. We asked for a different table and they accommodated us. We asked the waitress to not put jalapeños on the nachos so that we could share them with our four year old. The nachos came out and had plenty of jalapeños on them. No problem, our grandson just didn’t have any. When two of our drinks went dry, we had to wave down the waitress to get refills, and then she brought the wrong drinks. We told her that she brought the wrong drinks and she fixed it. The food came out in a timely manner, but part of the order was missing. So again, we had to flag down the waitress to get her to find out where the rest of our order was. I felt like I was having to train the staff and felt uncomfortable continually having to ask for what should have been done in the first place. I use the bathroom while I was there and while it wasn’t nasty it was also not very clean. I don’t know what kind of people frequent this establishment, but the walls in the bathroom were covered in profanity and other graffiti that I feel management should take care of. I feel that this establishment will be yet another business to fail on the east side of Athens. I gave three stars because the food was good but the dining experience was less than satisfactory.

inside dining is open. they practiced social distancing, with every other table occupied, and the tables had additional clear partition for booth seating.

So very upset with dinner tonight. In celebration of our birthdays (mine and my husband’s are the 16th & 19th) we ordered from one of our (used to be) favorite restaurants. What’s happening there guys?! This was massively disappointing tonight. Our chicken finger plate was BURNED..like overkill, left in the fryer and forgotten, HORRIBLE. Spent hard earned money on food I had to throw away!!! Absolutely upset

My “go to” dish here is The Matty, which is a chili queso hot dog. Delicious! I chose fries for the side.

Good food. Okay service. Didn’t appreciate the comment our server gave to my husband this weekend and told him to take it as a compliment. Will have to think about coming back to this location.

Fun to watch a Green Bay Packers game here out on the porch. Lots of fans wearing Green and Gold rooting for the Pack. Food was decent, service was good, bathrooms were fairly clean.
