The food is good, but the cocktails are the main event. I had 4 rounds of drinks and loved every single one of them – all very unique and balanced. I appreciate a boozy cocktail, but these are art. Both flavor and presentation.

Very good drinks! We each had 3 cocktails and enjoyed every one. The atmosphere is very unique for Honolulu. Really great place for a night out. The drink presentation was impressive as well

This is a unique, hidden gem. The first time we were in the area, we walked by it without even noticing! The entrance is between two buildings and they have an outside area with couches and other comfortable seating while you wait to go inside, and you can order drinks while you wait. They also have a valet service to assist with parking since there didn’t seem to be many parking spaces there.

Blind Ox is a little off the beaten path and provides an intimate experience. The bartenders and waiters are personable and attentive. I would definitely seat inside the restaurant as the ambience really sets the mood. The food is amazing along with the drinks. Everything is well balanced, thought out, and delicious. The food is Japanese inspired and fused with Western Cuisine. Drinks are over the top and everything is beautifully plated.

Unfortunately… no. I wanted to love this place but no. The waiter recited his speech monotone as if he is bored… the food was okay, but I could’ve made better food at the hotel room or gotten better food from a from a food truck. The wallpaper is excessively busy… like trying to be Vegas carpet… in Vegas that makes you look up… are you supposed to look down here? The drinks were Meh… $75 dollars for “meh” is excessively expensive… and for??? Sorry… go somewhere else.

Atmosphere was great! Reminds me of them hold cigar bar without the smoke. Food with excellent smoked salmon mousse, the wagyu sliders, king crab tempura. Everything we ordered was excellent. Service was very welcoming and complimentary.

Pretty nice spot. The food was tasty and the drinks were pretty tasty too. Nice cocktail menu and spirits selection, including some crazy expensive stuff. Four stars only because it’s just not quite as nice as the prices indicate it to be. For these prices, the experience needs to “fine” tuned a bit, particularly in the little details. Some things were a bit too casual and some details a little rough around the edges for this price point.

Amazing environment! This place has almost everything you want, definitely everything you need. Environment in the back is low light with dark walls. Very relaxing when it slows down, but groups of friends clearly arr having a great time in the early hours. The oyster shooters are a delicious as are everything else, scotch egg is the exception (skip it for sure). Bartenders arr full of knowledge and have terrific personalities. Truly a great place to go. They offer valet parking too.

Pretty chill speakeasy type bar. We were able to get indoor seating which was a plus as it was a bit humid outside. The interior was a bit darker with the red interior and the bull in the front. The place does have a great selection of bourbons and some really well crafted cocktails. The Boca Del Toro – their old fashioned was well made. The Viva La Matcha was extremely delicious. We were impressed at how well the cocktails were.

I was worried because they don’t use the pay phone as access to enter, and the valet lot was full on a night when it was pouring down rain.
