First time experience at Blue Island. We were a group of 5 and we all had a fantastic time! We love Caribbean cuisine and it was a nice bonus that we could enjoy Caribbean food in an elevated atmosphere, meaning this is a waterfront location so there is seating overlooking the water and the area is very live! This makes the property very unique as there are not many Caribbean restaurants in the area with a full on sit down dining experience and none that I know of overlooking the water. There is also inside dining which is where we sat with our group because the place was already packed by early evening. We were hoping to get seating outside but overall, had a nice dinner inside where there was a pianist that night, (intimate lo key, relaxing setting inside, and full on PARTY atmosphere outside, with great music!!!) the blue rum punch is everything! Will definitely return and arrive earlier for seating outside. hope in the future as they grow, they will extend the menu.

The atmosphere is the best thing about this restaurant. The drinks taste like kool-aid, straight soda, no alcohol flavor inspite of the cost of $12-15. The food quantity is the size of appetizers you will leave thinking about what you are going to eat later. The fries are so uncooked. How does one undercook bag fillet fish smh several times. I will never return the this Bleu resturant.

The drinks were great, the food menu limited, but delicious. Very affordable and strong drinks .A few of us ate and drank with DJ Warren spinning house music in the background. Very friendly and mature crowd. Will definitely be back!

Had dinner at Bleu island and ordered jerk chicken which was very flavorful and juicy. While eating dinner they provided live piano entertainment. Bleu Island will be my weekend hangout spot.

Made reservations for 8 they didn’t have none of the foods that was on the menu kept running out of food didn’t have chicken,shrimp ,salmon,oxtail and etc & They took 30 mins to come to the table in take my order.The food took a whole hour to come out and it was nasty never would wanna come back the restaurant again.
