So I came into the store and the person who was going to be making my pizza was not friendly at all. She did not look me in the eye, did not look at me the whole time she made my pizza. She was in a hurry but there was no one else behind me. When I asked for extra sauce she put a pinch of it and did the same with cheese. If I am going to spend my money a pizza that says build your own I should have it the way I would like it to be. Then she rung me up and was real rude about accepting cash! Unfortunately this happened at this location, usually I don’t have any issues, but today I did. If you don’t want to come to work with a good attitude then don’t. Just because your day is not going well does not mean you treat your customers that way, you don’t know what they might be going through.

Expect at least a 10-15 minute wait for walk-in orders, even if there’s no line in the store. I went around lunchtime on a weekend and staff were preparing a fair amount of take-out orders. I ordered a 1-top pizza (one topping – $9) with garlic pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, and mushrooms. Despite the number of orders they were juggling, staff were very friendly and took the time to give me personalized suggestions about how much sauce to add as well as generously sprinkle on mushrooms. I like the customization options here, there are many toppings (sausage, peppers, garlic, etc.) and sauces to choose from. The oven nicely crisped the crust but slightly burnt the edges.

I personally think this is a lazy company I don’t know the type of pizzas you have so it’s really inconvenient that you can’t call and ask questions about pizza before you order it this whole thing about it’s faster if you do it this way it’s not it’s faster for you and it’s supposed to be faster for the customer I’m not going to order Pizza that I don’t know what’s in it and pay $22 for it and get home and don’t like it because you guys don’t want to answer your phone that’s called being lazy customer service you hung uptry to make it look like it’s easy for us but it’s you’re doing what’s easy for you and so I decided not to order pizza and go home instead since no one can answer the phone, not stand business shopping at businesses where they don’t answer the phone and you got to talk to her answering service or a bot that is so lazy and I hate it and so I’m just going to go home and forget your pizza service

Good pizza and great prices. I’ve been here about six times with my teenage son who always orders a simple pie. Since prices have shot up so much with inflation, Blaze has held the line much better than most. I really appreciate that!!

Walked in and stood in an empty line for 15 minutes before anyone even looked at me or said a word. Finally a worker says “I can take your order.” I ask for a build your own, she takes my name, then stands there silently doing nothing for 2 minutes until she says “it’s gonna be a while.” I look down and see other online orders in front of mine, none of which have began to be made. I understand other orders were placed before mine but it’s a terrible system to not take care of your customers standing right in front of you, let alone even acknowledge them. Left and went next door to Ike’s instead.

This is a great place for make your own pizza in Davis. There are premade combinations to choose from but you can edit them to add or take out certain ingredients. My friends and I got the spicy pizza and the meat lovers pizza.

The biggest problem I had with this place was how their dough was made. They press the dough which is so wrong. Even Dominos hand tosses their pizza. Anyways the dough doesn’t matter if the taste is good except it wasn’t. Pizza had no flavor at all and toppings were very scant. I can see that people like to build their own pizzas but I went with the premade version and it still did not meet expectations. We dined in and there were no utensils or plates for us to eat with or extra condiments.
