We actually chose Blanco’s under the assumption that it was Mexican food! Lol! Imagine our surprise when it was BBQ! But we were not disappointed! The venue had a cool atmosphere. The weather was nice so we sat outside. The service was good and the food was great! We will definitely visit again. The picture I’ve uploaded is The Sloppy Pig; it was HUGE and delicious!

We were there for a late lunch. Very tasty pulled pork sandwich served on a substantial toasted bun. Generous side portion of smoked mac & cheese made with hefty cavatappi pasta. Very delicious! The grilled chicked salad was quite large with a good balance of meat and greens. It was served in a mixing bowl. Cruncy croutons on top. The tea was very weak, but the beer was perfectly chilled. Be certain to ask about daily specials because we overlooked them as it was our first visit. This is a bar, but it is clean and bright. They have a big patio at the front of the building for outside dining. The restroom was clean and tidy.

Best bar and Grill in Ottawa. Great Atmosphere and cool crowd. Awesome live music and BBQ. Friendly bartenders and awesome service. Owners that care about their business.

The food is pretty basic. Not much flavor nor is the portion size equivalent to the price. For an appetizer and a sandwich two beers I paid $34.

Updated: Gave them a second chance and it seems they’ve resolved their service related issue. They still serve food and they now have wait staff that provide good service. Hopefully the bad service was a one time issue.

Got the Philly burger and it was amazing came out fresh and hot the pasta salad was a hit with me not much of a fan of the potato salad but the rest was amazing the service was fantastic great atmosphere and friendly.

Brisket was fried. The sandwiches are frail and sides are extra. Restaurant dark and more of a bar. Tvs everywhere and music loud. Server forgot one side and did not return to refill water or tea.
