Excellent food and service. Small, rotating menu – that’s how you know it’s good! Drinks are all carefully crafted and well-balanced – can’t go wrong with any of these on the menu. Focaccia bread is outstanding! Ordered meat and cheese boards – very nice as well. Cipolline catanesi and frito misto apps were fantastic – perfectly savory and flavorful! Loved the squash salad as well, bread crumbs and parmesan really made it. Entrees and desserts were all remarkable, coulotte was cooked perfectly, risotto with lamb bolognese was great, and homemade pasta was delicious! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Celebrating our efforts in our huge garden this Spring with @blancafoodandwine in #norfolkva #hamptonroads #coastalvirginia #virginia #virginiaisforlovers … greeted by the ENGLISH equivalent of what happens when you enter a restaurant in Japan…customers are greeted with the expression “irasshaimase” meaning “welcome, please come in”. Felt warm and fuzzy as we entered …literally found ourselves front and center almost in the kitchen and just across from the food prep zone, heat lamp and just beyond the cook station. The re-use of the space for this gem of a restaurant is brillant. The proper bar with its architectural display of spirits, cocktail glasses and even a fine small collection of solid well worn and loved cookbooks all have their place. Sat at the cozy counter as we didn’t have recommended reservations. Ate mussel’s with gorgonzola, ️ and white wine / coulotte with fingerlings mushrooms and sauce verte / roasted chicken with polenta and almond pesto / chocolate mousse and crème fraiche…. just go and allow your senses to be satiated. Thanks Chef and team!

Perfect hidden spot in Ghent with amazing food and Services. The chicken is the best I have had in VA and got great recommendations from our Waiter!

Always first class. We were there Thursday and I have been dreaming of the lamb risotto since- it is the best risotto dish I’ve had. And the puff pastry appetizer was out of this world.

Went here for a quick dinner, wonderful menu and service! Our waiter was very attentive and answered any questions we had. The covered patio is perfect for outdoor dining. Perfect spot for a summer meal!

We have driven by blanca and heard friends and neighbors rave about the restaurant since they opened. A couple of weeks ago, we found ourselves able to visit for the first time. Everything was wonderful from the service, to the drinks, appetizers, main courses, and dessert. If you think you want to try something, just try it, I promise you can’t go wrong.

I recently moved to Norfolk from a larger city with.a robust food scene. I have tried almost every restaurant with some reputation for good food. I found many good one but none excellent until I tried Bianca. This place is on another level from all the rest. You can tell that there is a lot of thought and effort in what they serve.

Amazing food all around. Probably my favorite restaurant in Norfolk. The chef is well traveled and it shows in her food. Absolute culinary genius. Erin who was our server was the best server I’ve ever had she made me so excited to try each dish and was just an absolute delight.

I had roasted chicken over polenta with pesto, it was extraordinarily good, best meal I’ve had in a restaurant in some time. House green salad was excellent as well. Warm olives to start. None of the descriptions will do justice to the excellent ingredients and perfect execution.

Cute little place on Granby. You practically walk into the kitchen and can sit at the bar to watch the prepare. The chefs weren’t too busy so they had time to talk. There is also a separate seating area and an outdoor space, but it was fun to feel like you were in the kitchen. Friendly wait staff also! The muscles with gorgonzola cream sauce were excellent. I had the flounder with rice and butternut squash also and really enjoyed it. They sat me late after a long day and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
