We ordered an appetizer of brussel sprouts (a little overcooked which gave him a chip effect) but the goat cheese and roasted almonds were really good with it. The steak was good, small and mighty. The mac and cheese was bland and dry. It didn’t have a sauce effect or ooey gooeyness which I tend to look for mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes tasted off to me as well as the butter that came with the lobster so I just didn’t eat it. The baked beans were good. I would definitely order that again. The pulled pork was on point. The ribs were on point. The chicken had a good seasoning in the barbecue sauce but was on the dry side. But that’s okay because my dog’s got to enjoy it later. The lobster seasoning was good. Unfortunately it was overcooked so it had a rubbery texture to it. The customer service was good and I would definitely give them five stars. The atmosphere I gave three stars because the bathrooms were dirty. I came here for the experience because I get really excited when I hear about a new steakhouse coming in. I personally would not dime in here again.

Overall we’d like to give it a 5 star review considering all that we ordered. I’d like to start with the appetizers, we throughly enjoyed the oysters, very tasty and fresh with the lemon and spicy cocktail sauce. We also really enjoyed the Mac N’ Cheese, one of my favorites in town, love the crispy part on top. The shrimp was also pretty good, very generous pieces of shrimp… the batter seemed a bit overdone, however we still enjoyed it. The mushrooms were also very good, I’d recommend slightly more butter or a light sauce over the top of them. We loved the mashed potatoes. On to the steak, it was pretty good, however lacked some flavor in my opinion, possibly the thickness of the cut and cooking it, it also has a very thick marble around the edges, I think with the thickness of the 20 oz steak it’s definitely difficult to cook it medium rare without loosing the flavor. Never the less it was still pretty tasty. It was my partners birthday and they did deliver a free desert, which was super yummy and welcomed. The martinis are a must, I love that you put a couple olives on there! The service was great, we’d definitely go back!

This was our second attempt, but first time dining here. The first time we were turned away after waiting in line, when the Restaurant and Bar were empty… It seemed like a very inexperienced opening, something to do with online reservations…. You know you never get a second chance for a first impression…. So here goes with our second attempt at dining here. Overall the Food was great. Bar was limited, but the drinks we had were good. Excellent service. The Prime Rib was good… They say slow cooked for 12 hours. It was tough, and usually when slow smoking a Prime Rib you sear it at the end giving it a crisp and Tasty outside. If they oven cooked it it would be Seared at the start and then slow cooked at the end. They may have said it Rotisserie Cooked… In any case it wasn’t seared at any point. I had the 20 oz Three Sisters cut… For a $40.00 cut of Prime Rib it was, Definitely tough, when it shouldn’t be. Slightly disappointed in A Friday night Prime Rib. Buttered Mashed potatoes were excellent, Garlic String beans were good. Steakhouse Chilli was Incredible, the Steak in it was Extremely Tender and well Flavored. The Bruschetta was Excellent. The Creme Brulee was good. Overall we felt that it was a good experience and value. We would come back.

Drove up from Medford for the night father in law took the wife and I to this absolute gorgeous establishment!! The atmosphere and positive vibes that are drifting through the air created such an amazing dining experience!! Rib eye was cooked perfectly! Wait staff and cooks were professional but always fun and enjoyable! Definitely gonna spread to word down south about this place and make another trip back!

We went there for the first time last night. Everything tasted very good. However, the prime rib was lukewarm, and the mashed potatoes were cold. The carrot cake was to die for, and I would highly recommend their desserts. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner, but for these prices, it should have been phenomenal, and it wasn’t. Also, I would recommend serving a baguette and/or small side salad before dinner but included in the price of dinner. Everything costs extra. Service was exceptional.

Food was good, but the menu was not exciting. I had the two sisters prime rib and it came out only luke warm. The meal was dropped over a few minutes two plates at a time and the sides came out even later with two forgotten. I would strongly suggest adding trey service with the amount of separate plates.

Great new place in town. I think they’re still getting into their groove, but we were overall impressed. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the bbq was tender and flavorful.

Amazing restaurant! 1st time in the restaurant last night and was thoroughly impressed all around. We got a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. The bar was very busy, but the bartender still took time to talk with us, answer questions, and make us feel welcome while efficiently making drinks. Very positive vibes in the whole restaurant and although the restaurant was packed and busy, all staff was smiling and happy. After we got sat at our table, our server was quick to check in with us and get our appetizer and drinks started. Our server gave excellent recommendations on food and the food did not disappoint. The Filet Mignon was extremely tender and perfectly cook, best steak I’ve had in years. All of our food and drinks were amazing and exceeded our expectations. The bonus at this restaurant was definitely the value and pricing. We couldn’t believe how reasonable the mixed drinks were and were blow away at the high quality and reasonable prices. Well done Blacksteer, well done. I wish I remembered the names of the our server, bar tender, and host staff so I could give them credit. But nonetheless, thank you all for the great service. We are locals and will be back regularly for sure!

The wait staff were incredible, kind, and attentive. I am not able to have dairy and the server helped me order some things. Sarah, our server, was wonderful and engaging. The air conditioning was rather cold at first but upon request they turned it down. There were four of us and we all had delicious, hot meals brought out at the same time. We look forward to visiting again as many things looked great to try.
