Best pizza in Tampa. Update August 2023 – still the best pizza in Tampa, but whoever is cutting it needs to sharpen their blade. It gets a little more dull every weekend and last night, was getting grease and tomato pastes all over trying to pull off a slice. It was still yummy, though, just very messy and yummy.

This location used to be the best pizza & wings in S. Tampa. My family would order at least once a week since they opened. But ever since the new website it has gone down the craphole. The website won’t work on a mobile device, and corporate sends me coupons that the local store won’t honor. From first to worst in less than a year.

Very disappointed in this visit. I’ve never had a pizza restaurant count extra sauce on a pizza as a third item. They have always done it without issue. They were ok with losing a sale tonight and going forward over pizza sauce. Unbelievable. Either the kid at the register doesn’t know his job or they have gotten out of wack. I told the kid to let his manager know they lost a sale because of pizza sauce!! If they put enough to begin with, I wouldn’t have to ask. Good bye Black Jack. I used to like to eat here but you messed up this time.

We had the opportunity to check out their Pizza Deluxe with ham, mushroom, Italian, sausage, pepperoni and spinach and we were very impressed with the overall freshness and taste. Being from the Pizza mecca, NY, we consider ourselves pizza aficionado’s and this pizza did not disappoint. The cheese blended well with toppings without masking the flavors of the pizza. Our only small gripe and this is just a matter of opinion, we wished the sauce was more acidic and less sweet. Ordering process was painless and staff was very friendly. We will recommend BlackJackPizza to our customers looking for a better option pizzeria in Tampa.
