Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale
Brown ale is a specialty of the North of England, and a very early beer style – it is mentioned in literature in the 16th century. Judicious amounts of dark malt give brown ales brilliant dark-amber color and deep flavors that stop short of roastiness. The walnut or hazelnut notes in Nut Brown Ale come from dark malts and from fermentation in Yorkshire Squares – no nuts are used in the recipe! Dry, medium-bodied; the Sam Smith ale yeast strain gives a fruity note to the finish. Stilton cheese, grouse and roasted game hen, barbecued duck, pepper steak; spicy food, paella, stir-fry, teriyaki, Thai food, Chinese food, creamy chicken and pineapple curry. Serve at 50-55 °F.
$7.00
Samuel Smith Organic Cider
Apple juice used to produce cider contains a mix of apple varieties selected to balance fresh apple flavor with tartness, acidity, and sweetness. Samuel Smith’s uses a wine yeast strain to ferment their cider, providing a clean finish and allowing pure apple flavor to shine through. Bright straw-gold with excellent clarity, Samuel Smith’s Organic Cider has a light body with brilliant conditioning, a crisp clean flavor, and a dry finish. The bouquet is fresh apples, with a soft floral note. Cream soups, rich dishes, or salad with vinaigrette dressing. Wonderful to clear the palate when served with concentrated or spicy foods; a classic companion to pork dishes.
$7.00
Samuel Smith Winter Welcome Ale
Throughout history, beer of somewhat higher alcohol and richness has been enjoyed for the winter holidays, when old friends get together to enjoy the season. Wassail, a festival to celebrate winter and the beer that goes with it, predates the Christian era. Winter Welcome is vintage-dated with a special label each year, and was first shipped to the US in 1990 – it was the first imported winter seasonal beer. Serve in a traditional Sam Smith tulip or nonik glass for the holidays. Honey-amber colored, creamy head of small bubbles, floral aroma and delicious caramel malt flavor with great finesse. Fine hop aroma finish and a fruity note from fermentation in open-topped stone “Yorkshire Squares.” Roast goose, smoked turkey with oyster dressing, rack of lamb, candied yams, Smithfield hams, fresh pears and apples, Christmas cake.
$7.00

indians first new fruited lambic in over a decade. Choosing strawberry, one of the most noble of fruits, was easy: the complex sweetness of the frui mat perfectly with the sourness of lambic, resulting in a unique balanced marriage of sweet and sour. The recipe was developed specifically for ever-developing tastes in the US market. Rosy hue, with a beautiful aroma of perfectly ripened strawberries. Shows complex, captivating flavors; dete sweetness is balanced by traditional lambic tartness in the finish. Brie cheese, Maine lobster, barramundi/Asian sea bass, Bayonne ham, Balsamic vinegar salad, rosemary crusted lamb chops, candied almonds, sugared strawberries with fresh basil, mascarpone cookies or tiramisu, chocolate truffles, cheesecake, Pavlova, and meringue.

Suggested to Lindemans Brewery by Merchant du Vin in the early 1980s, the sweet rich flavor of ripe peaches is a perfect foil to the complex demanding flavor of lambic. Glowing golden color, with a nose that fills the room with the aroma of fresh peaches. Peche offers a sparkling, crisp and refreshing balance of sweet orchard fruit woven together with lambic tartness & acidity.
$10.00
Ayinger Bavarian Pils
Introduced to the US for the first time in 2017, and available year-round. German brewers produce a beer style famous the world over, pils: a brisk golden lager with snappy hop aroma and pure barley malt flavor, originally inspired by Czech Pilsner beers. German pils beers were the original inspiration for golden lagers in the US: German brewers made this popular style when they set up new US breweries in the latter half of the 19th century. Ayinger Bavarian Pils is the flavor of a fruitful barley harvest, seasoned with noble hops: a brisk golden lager with snappy hop aroma and velvety-soft malt flavor, from locally-grown barley. A thick creamy head rests atop this brilliantly clear, golden elixir. Ayinger Pils shows the masterful perfection of four classic ingredients melded by a family’s generations of brewing skill: barley malt; hops; water from an Ice Age aquifer via the brewery’s well; and lager yeast. Goat cheese or mild cheddar, grilled bratwurst with sauerkraut and pomme frites, croque monsieur, fried oysters with spicy remoulade, jerk or tandoori chicken, sushi, pound cake, or strawberry rhubarb pie.
$6.00
Ayinger Brauweisse
Wheat beer has always been known as an elixir or tonic, especially if the brewer’s yeast was left in the bottled beer. A very popular beer style, in Germany and around the world. Pale color, hazy; with a huge rocky head. Inviting and perhaps a bit tart in palate, this is “brut” beer with a delicious, smooth body from a grist bill of about 60% wheat. Flavor and aroma show the characteristic Ayinger elegance and perfect balance. Finishes with a subtle spicy, fruity note from a traditional Bavarian weissebier yeast strain – some tasters find they are reminded of cloves or ripe banana. Weiss-wurst (veal sausage), pretzels, Dusseldorf mustard, mettwurst, vegetable pâté, crab Louis, sand dabs, fried smelts, Sunday brunch. Serve in tall vase-shaped weisse glass; a thin slice of lemon as garnish is a personal choice.
$6.00
Radio Brewing Barrel Aged Scotch Ale

What a great restaurant with some amazing Italian food. We came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious our meals were. We had the garlic bread appetizer, steak and mushroom fetticinni, sausage fettecunni in a vodka marinara sauce, tiramisu for dinner. All were great!

This place was great! I asked for some minor adjustments to my sandwich, lettuce wrapped vs bun and they happily obliged with no up-charge. The staff was super sweet, the chef was pleasant to guests but not so much to his staff. It’s in the wide open so I was slightly taken aback because I could hear and see his exchange with them. Other than that the food was on par, the shop and bakery adjacent to it were just precious. The diner area was a little loud.

A great cafe/dining place in Wallace. The times I visited for coffee I had a relaxing time browsing through books and eating my pastry. The last time I went was for dinner with my family and all the food was great. We had the artichoke dip, caprese salad, I had the fish and chips and a couple of beers and of course coffee and cheese cake for dessert. Nice place, lovely atmosphere and friendly people.

Wonderful! I really enjoyed the food and the service. The milkshake was one of the best I’ve ever had. According to waitress the owner does the art on chockboards. It was beautiful. I also enjoyed the book section. That’s a nice touch.

The coffee and pastry were ok; the pastry i had could have been better. In retrospect, I should have chosen something else. On the plus side, they had really good and friendly service, and the atmosphere is really nice.

We were seated in a comfortable, bustling restaurant and ordered within a few minutes. One hour later we still had not received our food. By this time the restaurant was empty except for another couple that we later saw eating lunch at a different spot. I guess they were smarter than us and gave up. When the food arrived it was quite good but didn’t get rid of the bad taste in our mouth. Our bill was discounted 50%.

We visited for dinner on a Sunday night towards the end of the evening. We dined at a sidewalk table in the last of the sunlight. The food was delicious and service delightful.

This is a large establishment that encompasses a book/clothing store, a little market, coffee, and a cafe. It was busy, with lots of tables of 4+ people, and the staff was running hard but they were efficient and friendly. I had a salad with ahi tuna and it was absolutely amazing! Just one of those meals you remember because it is exactly the type of food you were craving. My husband had fish and chips- also delicious. We were glad we chose this spot, and we’d definitely go back.

Loved the environment of this place!! Staff was incredibly helpful with questions on the menu and all staff at the restaurant, bookstore, and cafe always had a warm smile. My son loved interacting with everyone, especially when he was playing on the floor with his trucks. Food was delicious, unique, and filling. I would definitely recommend it to anyone as it will please all family members, young and old. Can’t wait to return again someday with my son on vacation.

Amazing food! I had the chicken piccata & my husband had the Alfredo with chicken. We sat at the bar area so watched our food be made. Every cook, sous chef, server and host worked there bottoms off! Attention to detail was amazing…the servers worked hard which was evident by there rosy cheeks. When our food arrived, it was beautiful & delicious!! If I lived closer, I would eat here often. This place has amazing food and their attention to detail shows in the final presentation. Thank you for a delicious meal!
